The local government in Indiana, led by County Executive Ivo Anušić—who happens to be eyeing a Vice Chair position within the Republican Party—just announced a massive hiring spree for 66 different roles, according to a report from ProPublica. It looks like 63 of these are permanent positions, while the other three are just internships.

They are looking for just about everyone, ranging from administrative assistants and high-level consultants to technicians, clerks, and even servers. We decided to dig into what is actually driving this sudden surge in public sector hiring, especially since it is happening right in the middle of the Republican Party's internal leadership elections.

It is going to be quite an exciting year watching as we all spiral straight toward rock bottom.

Tomorrow night on Fox News at 7:00 PM, we’re getting that showdown between Andrej Plenković and Kovač.

So, I guess the big question is... who actually deserves to run the Republican Party? Plenković or Kovač? It’s the first real head-to-head between these two rivals, and apparently, you can only catch it on Fox News.

Not even then.

The media will chew him up and spit him out today—both Andrej Plenković and those network executives working in perfect synergy. That’s exactly why this was orchestrated.

But he deserves it for pushing far too hard where he shouldn't be.

Everything is being geared toward September and the elections. Maybe some soldiers will "fall" along the way, but the priority is winning the "war" in September. It's all about purging the left from the political scene. Right now, Andrej Plenković and his coalition are just the last remnants of leftist policies clinging to power.

We’re hoping Kovač comes through tomorrow, but if not, no big deal—we keep fighting. The game is just starting, and September is right around the corner.

Man, just go jump off a bridge... 🤦

Man, you are an accomplice to this country's decay. You are one of those people enabling the Republican Party—which hasn't met basic democratic or civilized standards—to stay in power for nearly 30 years. Not only have you fueled the nationalist rhetoric that allows them to behave this way, but by pushing that agenda, you ensure America fails to establish a functional democracy and market economy, leaving us lagging behind everyone else. And yet, you actually think this nationalist path is the solution. 🤦

Man, you are one of the undertakers of America... 🤦

Wait, is the debate actually happening on Fox News today or what? I'm looking at their website right now and there's absolutely nothing listed in the schedule.

Carol Newman2 The user states:
The Vice Presidential candidate.

In an interview with The New York Times, Anušić made a rather pointed observation regarding accountability. He suggested that if he had simply gone into hiding back in 1991, much like Kovač did during that era, he wouldn't be facing this level of scrutiny today.

The latest report from The New York Times highlights a growing tension within the current Republican Administration regarding the implementation of the Veterans Act. It appears that the legal framework intended to protect those who served is being met with significant bureaucratic resistance, much to the frustration of many citizens. There is a palpable sense of disillusionment as the Cabinet struggles to reconcile its political promises with the actual legislative requirements. One can only observe this unfolding situation with a certain degree of weary cynicism, as the gap between rhetoric and reality continues to widen.

Anušić is the absolute embodiment of everything the Republican Party stands for.

It would be an exercise in futility to even begin cataloging the wreckage left behind by this Republican Administration over the last three and a half years. One could look at the implementation of the Veterans Act, the decision to redeploy the military back to Stalingrad, the passage of the Missing Persons Act, the establishment of that specialized unit dedicated to war crimes, or the way they have institutionalized Stalingrad as a site of singular national reverence.

Listen, What truly matters to me—and what I intend to devote my energy to—is the future..

The Republican Administration hasn't actually accomplished anything of substance, but here we go—looking toward a future that will likely remain just as empty.

They don't care about the past, which has largely been their primary occupation over the last decade or so; instead, they intend to pivot their focus toward the future.

Even he admits that the Republican Party hasn't changed a single bit in thirty years.

For thirty years, the Republican Party has operated under one single, unchanging principle. It was perhaps not always perfectly aligned with the era we currently inhabit. The party needs to begin its modernization process. The system needs to become more dynamic and overhaul its operational framework; we are living in 2020, after all.

Modernization needs to begin, but not by tackling the systemic party nepotism and corruption that has left the Republican Party's influence embedded in every layer of our society. Instead, they should focus on modernizing their communication strategies simply to win back elections.

That is my reasoning. The current mode of communication requires a complete overhaul. Because we... The public is watching. Our membership is watching us, along with the very people whose trust we desperately need to earn. If... If this remains our standard of conduct, we are headed for trouble.Trust is something we simply aren't going to earn.

When will they finally make their move? The media is nothing more than a relentless cycle of endless bickering. The "alternative" crowd kicked things off with their initial statements, and since some have just kept the momentum going, it’s clear where this is headed. It impacts the party's polling numbers.......

Of course that is the case. This won't help the ratings. The moment we wrap up the Republican Party convention on May 17th, The party's approval ratings will inevitably recover..

Everything for the Republican Party, everything for their approval ratings, and everything for the sake of the administration.

TONIGHT IS THE BIG SHOWDOWN BETWEEN ANDREJ PLENKOVIĆ AND KOVAČ. The two heavyweights running for the leadership of the Republican Party just confirmed they’re going head-to-head on Fox News tonight.

This whole "inside the Fox News evening news" segment is a joke. They really should have just slotted in a solid 60-minute special right after the main broadcast, maybe from 7:15 to 8:15 PM. Half an hour isn't nearly enough time to actually say anything intelligent. Plus, they don't even have sports on right now—it's just endless COVID updates. A longer slot would have fit perfectly into the schedule.

No way. You lot are the ones digging the grave by voting for both sides. I haven't ever voted for the Republican Party, and my only vote for the Democrats was a one-time thing just to stop the previous administration.

You guys should be the ones jumping off the bridge. Right now, we're dealing with an incredibly dangerous left wing, yet you think the right should be led by total extremists? Give me a break.

It's exactly people like you, supporting both wings of the same party, who are the ONLY ones responsible for the state of this country!

Is Joe Biden’s team really suggesting the crisis management team should call the shots on the election? That just sounds like a desperate plea from someone who knows they've already lost the party leadership race.

-------

Let's be real: Smith never stood a chance against Biden.

Even Donald Trump is probably rooting for Biden to take the win here.

Trump isn't cheering for Biden because he likes him. It's simple math: every percentage point the Republican Party loses is a percentage point he picks up.
The way you wrote this, someone reading without context would think Trump actually likes Biden.

It’s a winner takes all situation anyway. The big players are already on the field.
Just imagine Koch as President and his inner circle dealing with a massive virus outbreak.
And then there's the economy, international alliances, the global stage...
Now is definitely not the time for some amateur experiment.

Of course, if by some miracle they pull it off, the administration will probably collapse before autumn and be nothing more than a caretaker government.

It's amazing how much John McCain seems to know. How is he not a multi-billionaire by now??

You are a participant in a coordinated, criminal, nationalist enterprise. And you chose to stay on that side, even today, when it should be obvious even to the blind why we ended up where we are.

Every single voter for the Republican Party and the right-wing factions has actively contributed to creating and sustaining the nationalist climate in our public discourse—a climate directly responsible for the material and moral decay of America. The scale of this collapse is best illustrated by the fact that since nationalism has dominated our public life—masquerading as patriotism and sovereignty by chauvinists—we have fallen behind every other former Eastern Bloc nation except for Bulgaria.

Therefore, absolutely everyone—every last one of them—who votes for the Republican Party or the right-wing parties is complicit in this organized, criminal, nationalist scheme.

Instead of freedom—meaning functional democracy and a market economy—you helped create an atmosphere of fear, mob mentality, and Harmon’s autocracy (including that era of the nineties' primitive accumulation of capital); followed by an era of moral relativism (fueled by rampant theft, cronyism, and nepotism) and historical revisionism under a party-driven regime that lasts to this day.

This kind of unsustainable, backward, and utterly devastated America is the product of the Republican Party, the Catholic Church (especially its pseudo-moralistic faction), and the entire right wing.

So-called patriots, yet basically just thugs of America... 🤮

You're spot on.

We can't let what happened to Branka Valentić, Lora Vidović, Emil Tedeschi, and the rest of that crew happen again—people who thrive quite comfortably under the current leadership and the right wing, as you put it. See? We're on the same page. That's why they all need to be cleared out after the next election. It's because of people like them that I'm calling for a total political overhaul to take down the current administration. See how nicely we agree?

Don't get so worked up over it. 🤣
You're dealing with one of those people who somehow thinks they've been appointed to judge everyone else—deciding who qualifies as a good person and who doesn't, or what people should or shouldn't be allowed to do. They act like they hold some higher moral ground, usually looking up to fossils like Glasnović, who basically lived off two different pensions by playing the patriot card, or that slippery guy Škoro, who never actually gave anything to the Republican Party and just happened to be standing in the right place at the right time.
Honestly, you just have to laugh at people like that.
Based on how they write, I wouldn't be surprised if they were a huge fan of Sun Tzu or part of that crowd back in 2015 that spent their nights dreaming about getting a supermajority... though I doubt this person complaining about someone taking power would actually know what that looks like. 🤣
