Here’s the link if you missed the debate:

The folks over at the Republican Party can't quite decide if they're actually on the left or the right—or if they should just call themselves the "moderate center" to sound more sophisticated...

Honestly, Gregoret just isn't cut out for hosting debates or doing interviews. She’s great at deep-dive reporting and analysis, sure, but when it comes to managing a live discussion... 🤦

The Republican Party is currently debating whether they qualify as the "far right"—meaning those who try to pose as traditional centrists due to global pressures, though they fail miserably because they lack the basic sophistication required—or if they are truly far right, incapable of even attempting to play the moderate game.

I sincerely hope most of the GOP finally follows their hearts and embraces what they actually want and secretly dream about. It can’t be easy spending thirty years pretending to be something else, while suppressing—only occasionally letting it slip—their true (totalitarian and chauvinistic) inclinations...

'Come on, you selfish lot, just show your true colors. Stop playing small.' 🤮

I truly hope this party collapses once and for all today.

I can't help but picture the party members having to head out to the polls today to cast their votes for those two blond politicians, even with the coronavirus concerns looming, just so they can protect their own jobs and cushy little sinecures.

And this is happening right when the Republican National Committee has been urging citizens to stay home and avoid any unnecessary travel if possible.

I honestly find myself caught between feeling a bit sorry for them or just laughing at the whole situation.

But oh well, I suppose at least the weather is nice.

Man, I can't wait to laugh in the faces of the Republican Party crowd if they actually pick Plenković. Imagine him playing the weak little junior partner and backing the Democrats after the elections. We’d end up with Bero as Prime Minister, the Republican Party running Parliament, and Milanović as President. What a total circus. Honestly, I’m almost rooting for the Republicans to start heading down that path right now...

Come on, Miro, let's drive the final nail into the coffin of the Democratic Party once and for all.🎉

The only thing Gregoret could probably prep for is grabbing a baseball bat and swinging at them like horses just to somehow keep the chaos under control, maybe something like this:

Despite the pandemic, the Republican Party has prioritized its own interests over the rule of law, official guidelines, and basic common sense.

To the Leadership, maintaining a base of traditionalist loyalists proves far more important than the actual health of families and the nation at large.

Over the last few days, both of these headquarters have been acting incredibly irresponsible with all the handshaking and hugging. You really have to wonder what’s going through their heads.

Must be nice for them, but they’re basically risking infecting their families, coworkers, neighbors, friends, even the clerk at the grocery store.
They preach "responsible behavior" and telling us to avoid social contact, yet tens of thousands of Republicans are hitting the polls today.

They couldn't postpone it because apparently, this is the most important thing in the entire country. Disgusting.

Zele wants to wrap this whole thing up ASAP because the amount of dirty laundry getting aired lately is just insane... at this rate, someone might trip over something they really shouldn't.

Tonight’s numbers will finally reveal how many actual Republicans we have left—because we all know every single one of them shows up to vote. I’m betting they won't even crack 60,000 or 70,000, despite the constant hype from the old guard claiming there are 200,000 of them. Most of the old crowd has already dropped off, and there just aren't enough young people coming in to replace them.

If membership numbers drop, they’re totally gonna blame it on COVID... you know, playing the "older people were too scared" or "high-risk groups stayed home" card. Ha! Honestly, maybe that's exactly why they didn't push back the elections—so they have a built-in excuse for why the Republican Party membership has cratered. Keeps people from asking too many questions about what's actually going on...

🤣Anyone wearing a mask is definitely voting for Kovač. 😁

I find it hard to believe there will be any significant or even noticeable drop in turnout due to the virus.
The party—after all—seems to consider itself more important than the state, common sense, or the actual welfare of the citizens.
If only it were possible to compare the list of people stuck in isolation with those who actually showed up to vote...

They're just a bunch of idiots... honestly. And it's not like that's some new realization either.

It’s going to play out exactly like those last five times everyone "predicted" a grand coalition was coming.
