It looks like Andrej Plenković has completely crushed the "outsiders."

Not a single one of those "alternative" candidates managed to pull through.

This right here is the ultimate proof of what the Republican Party actually stands for—and honestly, it’s a massive reality check for all those forum trolls who claim they "didn't see this coming."

It’s always about self-interest and clinging to power at any cost... if Slobodan Maddox were running for their nomination today, those same traitorous losers would still be voting for their precious Republican Party establishment without blinking an eye.

Well, at least we finally figured out where the Republican Party keeps their precious little Nora.

Joe Biden now basically has a blank check to reshape the Republican Party however he sees fit.

Honestly, Stier, Penava, and Kovach would all be better off just stepping down and letting Schwarzenegger take over.

These 10 individuals are almost a lock to win seats in Congress and end up sitting across from the "devil's advocates" during negotiations: Petrov, Bulj, Grmoja, Sladolov, Hasabegović, Zekanović, Glasnović, Marin Miletić, Peternel, and Schwarzenegger. Honestly, there should be many more on this list, but these 10 are a safe bet.

Man, I just can't stop thinking about that legendary bit of nonsense from Kovach:

Kovach telling Bujanec: You're basically an encyclopedia, a total enlightener. http://hr.n1info.com/Vijesti/a107570...vjetitelj.html
"Mr. Bujanec, you've got this encyclopedic knowledge... you're like some kind of walking encyclopedia, a true enlightener," Kovach said.

"The Republican Party has always kept some pretty effective tools in the shed when it comes to cleaning up messes and getting rid of pests."

Honestly, they should just step down voluntarily and move on... though you can dream! If you ask me, there's a much better chance of Škoro joining the Republican Party than anyone actually seeing those guys pack their bags.

The current Republican Party president, Andrej Plenković, just cruised to another win today. According to the unofficial early counts, Tomo Medved is set to be his deputy.

Plenković absolutely crushed it with 82% of the vote, while his opponent Miro Kovač trailed behind with 18%.

As for the deputy spot, Tomo Medved—running on Plenković’s "Brave for America" ticket—grabbed 73% of the votes. Meanwhile, Ivan Penava, representing the "option for change" camp led by Kovač, pulled in 27%.

The party vice presidents were also picked from Plenković’s squad: Oleg Butković (19%), Ivan Anušić (18%), Branko Bačić (17%), and Zdravko Bušić (15%).

Davor Ivo Stier managed 9%, while Milijan Brkić and Tomislav Tolušić both landed at 8%. Independent candidates Hrvoje Tomasović and Ivan Kujundžić finished with 3% each.

So far, they've tallied the results from 206 out of 586 polling stations.

Word on the street is that Miro Kovač has already called Andrej Plenković to say congrats on the win.

Kovac gave this super short little speech and then everyone just basically bolted out of headquarters, all scrambling to throw themselves into Plenki's arms at once.

That was a brutal loss for Kovac and his crew.

Look, look... weren't the Republicans all whining about Plenković before? They were boycotting everything, acting like they hated the whole direction of the country. And now? Suddenly they changed their minds. Good grief, they’re all bought and paid for. It's nothing but self-interest at this point.

They didn't just pick Plenković; they picked his entire inner circle. Neither Stier nor Penava made the cut? Now that's interesting...

From here on out, we’re stuck living under the shadow of Plenković’s massive ego. He thought he was the Sun, but now he thinks he’s God!

Anyone with an ounce of integrity has already checked out
The people who actually chose this path are nothing more than the bottom of the barrel—the kind of crowd that’ll swallow whatever garbage they're fed. You can tell just by looking at who's still hanging around the party

It's like they say—it's all coming up from the gutter.

🤦 Losers have every right to be angry.
Thank God the actual members are actually thinking for themselves and living in the 21st century.

In my opinion, Plenković winning is great news for America (that's the only lens I'm using, because I don't really care about the Republican Party as an entity). It creates the space needed to strengthen new parties on the right, which ultimately weakens the Republican Party.
If Kovács had won, it would have been easy for every other right-wing alternative to just drown before the next election, so I'm skeptical about that happening. 👍

Did I seriously just say they’d try to blame "low turnout" on COVID? Please... there aren't even that many of them left, maybe 70,000 tops.
Well, at least we know it wasn't two hundred thousand. 🍿

I suspect the gap on the ground is narrower than expected, even though most people assumed Plenković would cruise to victory thanks to the rigid, old-school mindset held by the bulk of the Republican base.
In my view, it doesn't matter which of these two candidates takes the win—it’s still a loss come September, because the Republican Party is already fractured beyond repair.
