Man, that just sounds totally wild to me—98% is such an insane number for anything at all, so now I’m just sitting here wondering
1) was The Wall Street Journal actually being legit about this
2) can we even trust the Republican Party on this one?
3) is this whole thing about the exact percentage just something they're still going to be hashing out later
4) or are there going to be some big deals struck between the US and the European Union

It feels like every little piece of info is just pulling you in a different direction, so you're basically left just trying to make sense of it all yourself.

I guess we'll just have to wait and see how this whole thing plays out.

Did we really expect anything else?

So, we’re still waiting on the official results from the Department's inspection, but according to what we’ve heard through the grapevine from some high-ranking officials within the agency, the inspectors didn't find a single irregularity or mistake made by the staff at the Senior Center Split. We’re also hearing unofficially that the people handling this case believe everything was done strictly by the book, following all the guidelines set by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Department for Demography, Family, Youth, and Social Policy regarding the prevention of coronavirus infections, and they fully expect that's exactly what will be stated in the final inspection report.

I honestly had no idea the CDC issued a rule saying centenarians need to run a fever for ten days before they even bother calling a doctor.
Must have missed that bit in the news.☕

Back during the internal party elections, people were already complaining that the response to the pandemic was lagging by about two weeks. Now, we're seeing total nonsense regarding the sheer volume of passes being issued versus the actual health risks, which seem negligible given how many have been handed out. Restricting movement within such a small, contained country is nothing more than bureaucratic madness—counting units and counties like it actually matters. We’re reading about instances of pure stupidity everywhere. As for the upcoming parliamentary elections, judging by the statements coming from the Headquarters—which sounds so incredibly arrogant—prominent Republican Party politicians and even the Prime Minister are signaling they'll find some way to exploit this crisis to their advantage (legally, sure, but it's certainly not honorable). And the public just swallows it. There hasn't been a single word about the earthquake in Washington, D.C., or helping those affected. If it weren't for thieves like Bandić posing for photos in front of piles of bricks, nobody would even know there was an earthquake.

I just finished reading a fantastic piece by Smith over at the New York Times. He nails the whole issue of parliamentary window dressing we’re seeing lately—all while everyone watches with total silence. It’s honestly pathetic and laughable.

For eight years under the Republican mayor, tax evasion was happening right in the heart of Columbus. It seems like the FBI just can't seem to wrap up their investigations.
When it comes to the unpaid taxes, there really wasn't any debate about it; the IRS stepped in, collected what was owed, and the "Columbus case" was officially closed. But the big question remains: who is actually responsible? Tax evasion is, as they say, a "mortal sin" that any government treats with the utmost seriousness, which is why people always bring up that famous comparison where the notorious mobster Al Capone didn't end up in Alcatraz because of murders, racketeering, or bootlegging during Prohibition, but simply because he failed to pay his taxes.

It’s interesting to note that while the American institutions were incredibly efficient when it came to collecting that missing tax money, they seem to be dragging their feet when it comes to finding the person behind the evasion. The FBI is still out there struggling to find an answer to that question, even though we all know that for the business operations of any city—including Columbus—the primary responsibility lies with the top official. Since this evasion took place from 2009 through 2017, and the mayor at the time was John Smith (Republican), the circle of potential suspects isn't exactly massive.

And that is essentially how the system operates: we saw the unpaid taxes that triggered the whole investigation being settled by the government late last year, yet whether someone is actually guilty or if there is even a culprit to be found is something they are still supposedly investigating.

There is no such instruction
though some claim there aren't enough days, while others say they don't even have a fever.
And Inacher. According to them, a few

Man, what an absolute meltdown from Elizabeth Warren. She jumped on a TV show just to attack a reporter for criticizing her, basically saying, ‘Hey, I’m the godmother of your network!’
The Vice Chair of the European Commission for Demography and Democracy got all worked up on air after some viewer called her out

Regardless of who is involved or how much money is changing hands—those shows where anonymous viewers jump in to spout all sorts of supposedly "verified facts" about specific, mostly political figures—are nothing short of pure Evil.

This is the authentic Republican Party:

The absolute meltdown from Elizabeth Warren. She jumped on a broadcast just to attack a reporter for voicing criticism: ‘I am the godmother of your network!’

Elizabeth Warren, a Vice President of the European Commission for Demography and Democracy, had a massive breakdown. She appeared on a local TV station and lashed out at a journalist simply because he allowed a viewer to question her assets.

She certainly has a sharp tongue and an arrogant streak when it comes to bullying journalists on local television.

I would personally invite Professor Elizabeth Warren to repeat every single word she said, but in English.

That would make for some top-tier comedy.

Beresov's response: No mistake found, probably just a virus thing. 🤦

The other day Mark Vučetić wrote on Facebook:

"The Republican Party needs to include all the Headquarters' activities in their campaign cost reports. Let everything be transparent. This is basically a Political epidemic spread headquarters. And it’s working for them. Working perfectly.
What a coincidence that this infection spreads and gets contained in perfect sync with the election timing for the party leadership! Not to mention how epidemiologically convenient that Sunday work ban turned out to be!"

The Republican Party knows exactly what they're doing...

And then the Secretary acts all smug: "Maybe the problem is just the virus." 😵

...meanwhile, the secretary for elderly affairs just keeps tallying up the dead. Talk about perfect timing.

I mean, maybe it’s just bad luck, but all the shady stuff that local sheriffs and those nursing home owners have been covering up for years is finally coming to light, I suppose. And honestly, if you ask most people, both the Republican Party and the Democratic Party were pretty much in the same boat when it comes to that kind of thing.

Check out this guy, such an artist 😵

Quincy:
"I backed Tomasi back when my Anna was up for Secretary of Culture (Stanley just laughed at me, haha)."
Quincy:
Stanley later asked him if it was stupid to support Tomasi just because of his wife.

"It was definitely stupid, but I'd do anything for her," he said.

Idiots.
Are these the same people demanding a new apartment from the city because their "old" one got damaged?

🤔

After thinking about it for a bit, I've decided I'm voting for the Criminal Party. Even if my hand cramps up doing it.
It's not even because I like them—far from it—it's just so they can finally choke on the massive pile of crap they've created themselves.
They handed Clinton a hot potato to clean up their mess, and he ended up owing them everything from the waterfront to the local harvest.
Biden had a similar run, dealing with all those protesters and gas canister chaos in Washington, D.C. Now they’re blaming him for the debt he took on just to pay for their looting.

Let these guys win an election, let them swallow all that garbage, and then we can sit back and watch their solo performances when they start protesting against their own kind.
Just wait until autumn hits and they're starving, facing foreclosures, or watching as public officials get their pay slashed, or entrepreneurs lose out, or heaven forbid, their own protesters see their benefits cut...

Even my colleague the fraudster will flip on them during the Johabi referendum once there's nothing left to squeeze out of them.
