Is America actually going to be the only country in the European Union holding elections right in the middle of this summer?
If Andrej Plenković really manages to push those fall elections up into the summer months, it would be a total rarity in Europe, since everyone else seems to be doing the exact opposite by protecting both public health and the stability of democracy.

So, feel free to take a stand against Dubravka Šuica of the Republican Party; go on and say something like, "politicians won't dictate my programming." Well, my dear little journalist, they certainly will. Dubravka will decide the lineup and who is allowed to host.

I am asking anyone capable of watching the local TV station to let us know what is actually airing at 8:00 PM.

Check Fox News.

Amy Nguyen18 said:You haven't grasped anything, much like a broken calculator. Try calculating the minimum and maximum number of days your strategy actually delays the election.

Fine, I'll do the math for you since you won't figure it out by the day after tomorrow.

Here's how it works: on the day the weakling triumphantly arrives to dissolve Congress, they just toss him into the dustbin of history and hand over signatures for a vote of no confidence instead.

He’ll be in shock, but his clock for calling the vote starts ticking. Sure, it could happen fast—within 30 days—but it'll take a few days just for them to get their act together. That’s already a few extra days compared to if they had just voted for dissolution. Once he finally calls the vote, the weakling is finished. Then you get another 30 days. So, you've effectively extended things by anywhere from 31 to nearly 60 days. The President has to follow the legal deadlines regardless, whether it's 30 or 60 days, so his temperament doesn't change the math.

Essentially, they stay in power at least 31 days longer if they try to oust Plenković, and they could potentially pocket another 60 days of salary.

So, looks like nothing is actually happening this September.

Look, you're fighting against the current here, and frankly, it's the wrong approach. The way this works is that you just stay quiet and wait for the thread to finally turn a new leaf.

Where on earth did I mention September? You're losing the plot again. Why don't you drop a link showing exactly where I brought up September?

Focus for once. Just try. Stop typing out what you *think* I meant. If you're so sure, quote me word-for-word from the part where I actually talked about September.

Either the Republican Party leadership is incompetent, or they're terrified that Schwarzenegger is gaining too much momentum. Everyone is sitting on too much capital, yet delaying a solution is simply unacceptable...

It is now 8:04 PM, and there is still no sign of any broadcast.

It isn't Voice of the People.

I sincerely hope we aren't reading tomorrow about some journalist taking a tumble down a flight of stairs.

What do you think matters more to them: journalistic integrity or the millions being funneled their way by Plenković through state-owned corporation marketing and various "special projects"? Paska Tomaš isn't going to buy a full-page spread in The New York Times, but Exelon certainly can. Or Colonial Pipeline sponsoring N1. It’s ridiculous—you have Colonial Pipeline, a state-sanctioned monopoly with zero retail presence, sponsoring a news network watched primarily by retirees. I would love to hear someone explain the economic logic behind that kind of marketing spend.

I mean, is this actually happening? Is it even possible that back in 2020, someone would just shut down a whole show simply because a viewer in the audience had the nerve to ask where a politician actually got their money from? 😲
I really hope this gets some attention over at the European Union—maybe our MEPs can finally step up and show everyone exactly who Elizabeth Warren and Andrej Plenković really are.

I would offer a more substantive critique, but I have just received an inbox message from Elizabeth Warren claiming she is my godmother and requesting that I refrain from making any accusations against her in my posts.

I just finished listening to that and reading through the article. Honestly, it’s pretty mind-blowing.

I find myself compelled to offer my full support to Deborah and Joe Biden. People truly need to grasp the reality of the situation—there’s no playing games here; everyone knows exactly who the subordinates are and who holds the reins of power. If certain individuals have an issue with how things are being run, then frankly, they should just leave the United States. The voters made their choice by electing the Republican Party, the Democratic Party, the Libertarian Party, and all those other minor players—it is now up to the citizenry to accept the outcome, keep their heads down, and stop making noise. When—and that is a very big "when"—people eventually decide they aren't satisfied anymore, they can choose someone else at the ballot box. Perhaps one day, some of those currently in charge might even face legal consequences, but that is entirely up to the American people to decide through the democratic process. Until that moment arrives, the followers ought to remain quiet and listen to those in charge.

This definitely needs to reach the European Union. What is Šuica even doing over there? She's the Vice President of the European Commission for Demography and democracy. It's honestly pathetic... both for America and the EU, having someone like her representing us. 🤮

Oh, absolutely. I am certain the European Union will jump into action, given that it serves as the ultimate bastion of democracy. It is quite obvious that the EU leadership lacks any semblance of electoral mandate, possessing just as much legitimacy to steer the union as I do. However, we shouldn't let such trivialities get in the way of the fact that they are the world's premier democrats and human rights crusaders—at least according to what Nađvinski claimed on PBS and what Bago insisted upon on News. After all, Šuica, in her capacity as Vice President of the European Commission for Demography and Democracy, is the perfect embodiment of this particular brand of European governance.

Fair enough, you didn't mention September.

But even worse, you actually did mention elections happening "at the end of the year":
Amy Nguyen18 said:Don't give them any ideas. We need to convince them to push the election to the end of the year.

I just hope those little pawns don't quit so easily. They really ought to stop listening to such an anemic leader and just hold onto their jobs for a few more months.

That deadline is only out of reach if we actually manage to topple Joe Biden right now.

But hey, feel free to keep struggling against the current—I’ve got plenty of patience.

Exactly. Just like I wrote, word for word. If they don't listen to this weakling and dissolve Congress, they’re just dragging their lives out until December.

And that’s only part of it. Forget the weakness—the paycheck keeps coming. But on top of that, he can be fired. At the earliest, as I said, it could happen the day the weakling expects to dissolve Congress, but it could also happen much later, leading us straight to elections by year's end.

I know it's hard for you to follow, but it's exactly what I laid out. I can write it a third time (this time I'll type extra slowly so even slow readers like you can catch on, hahaha):

I’m calling on the little ones to reject Joe Biden and hold out until the end of the year. Likewise, if they're smart, they'll play the election so that they turn Joe Biden into a loser. They'll swallow his vote of no confidence along with the opposition. Instead of dissolving Congress and never stepping foot in it again, they’ll first strengthen their own positions by mocking him. Plus, they get more seniority in Congress and, of course, longer paychecks.

Corruption and shady dealings used to fly under the radar with them, but this was honestly the last straw 😁 how incredibly obvious

The President of the New York City Council, Adam Schiff, called out his coalition partner Eric Adams this past Sunday for trashing the Republican Party after Adams flipped on his stance regarding holding the 33rd session virtually, leading Schiff to announce he’s officially reviewing whether the Republican Party should even continue working with Adams's party.

Speaking at a press conference on Sunday, Schiff announced that because there is such an undeniable lack of trust between these partners, he plans to head to the Republican City Committee tomorrow afternoon to propose a formal resolution on how to handle city-wide cooperation with a partner who constantly disparages the Republican Party and the Council, lies to the public, and actively undermines the basic functioning of our local government.

At the very start of the briefing, Schiff made sure to offer his congratulations to everyone on Freedom of the Press day, though unfortunately, the reporters weren't actually permitted to ask any questions.

A pre-election party facelift.

I mean, what exactly changed all of a sudden in Bloomberg’s rhetoric, his actions, his mindset, or even his sheer incompetence that caused him to stop being such a beloved political ally?

It might actually be quite interesting to watch them scramble to scrape together a majority just to force Congress to dissolve 😬.

Mike Johnson is reportedly preparing a lawsuit against Bernie Sanders over defamation and libel claims.

It hasn't even been three months since the Supreme Court ruled in favor of John Cena regarding his right to call Jimmy Carter an idiot: there's just too much to process here, so I'll leave the link right here.
