Robin Jones2 said:I suspect njonja has played his final hand; even he won't survive the upcoming change in administration.

If he manages to pull the same stunt with the next president, then I’ll give him his damn credit.

The man has been an elite operative for his president. Any future party leader would be lucky to have a collaborator of this caliber—someone with skin thick enough to withstand anything and a Teflon-like ability to deflect blame. This line of work requires a certain stomach, and Gordan Jandroković certainly has the track record. It isn't a matter of whether someone will need him; the real question is how long Jandroković can endure the grind. He might step out of the spotlight to manage public perception, but he could just as easily pull the strings from the shadows, perhaps within the party itself. Political parties are chronically short on seasoned veterans, and they simply don't have the luxury of discarding people of his profile. They can play it smart and try to kick people to the curb now, but they won't realize his true value until they find themselves sitting in those high chairs.

Jonathan Phillips4 said:Milan Škoro is actively sabotaging negotiations with Esih and that whole crew because he’s terrified they'll just end up being used as pawns. Meanwhile, Plenković is busy stuffing his list with Lučić, Deur, and even Culej for the fifth district—those are all just little chess pieces Škoro can pull out if things get messy

Total panic breaking out among the big shots at the square

Hold on—that’s the exact same Culej we saw during the presidential campaign asking, "Am I for Škoro, or am I not?" The Republican Party is facing a massive crisis.

If I could make memes, I’d put njonja's face on that one black guy meme and write: "I can't kick you out of the party... if you become the party leader."😁

Zdravko Marić appears on the list, though word is he intends to jump ship to the Adris Group after the elections to work for Ante Vlahović—a mutual acquaintance of both Plenković and Zokijev. Vlahović is, of course, well-known for overseeing the sale of State Farm at such an incredibly favorable price during Milanović's administration, not to mention his earlier role in the privatization of TDR. It seems Zdravko is making sure he isn't holding the reins of the Treasury when the inevitable economic collapse begins this autumn.

He was certainly a "capable" minister while the rest of Europe was experiencing growth. Granted, our growth was the most sluggish in the region, and we were actually overtaken by Romania during his tenure, but hey—growth is growth, and Bulgaria is still trailing behind us. That will be Zdravko Marić's second act in the private sector. His first professional chapter was spent at the infamous, collapsed Agrokor, where he was hired by Ivica Todorić—a man who bears an uncanny resemblance to Zdravko, and someone who has long been the subject of whispers suggesting he might actually be Zdravko's biological father.

Ever since he expressed interest in moving to Adris, things have been shifting. Now, with the crisis looming, he'll probably want even more leverage—it makes you wonder who will actually end up holding that cabinet position after the elections.

The Republican Party is accusing Milan Škoro of favoritism: "First he put his sister in charge, now it's the best man's turn"

----------
Pure panic... 😁

Those supposedly "honest" Republican Party supporters are out here calling someone else out for nepotism..

The wildest part is that they won't even try to claim this isn't about nepotism.
It’s not some public agency; it’s just a campaign list for the next election.

He basically handed her a seat on a silver platter.

And don't even get me started on whether she actually has the skills for the job.

Exactly. But all this really does is highlight just how uneducated and corrupt the Republican Party supporters are.

To me, it simply highlights a void where actual arguments should be; when they run out of substance, they reach for fabrications. The Republican Party way of doing things mostly boils down to small-town gossip and calculated character assassination. If you view it strictly through the lens of political warfare, perhaps anything goes—but looking at the divide between the parties, one sees a massive intellectual vacuum regarding their own policy direction.

Is this that guy from The Mustaches?

Honestly, nobody’s got more nerve than the Republican Party. 👍

It’s looking more and more likely that Bačić—that old bagman who’s basically just been carrying everyone else's luggage—might actually lose his seat in Congress...

🤔 So, where did Peter Schorr disappear to?

The rumors around town suggest he might have been caught up in some questionable marital affairs, not to mention a mountain of monthly kickbacks.☕

Those are exactly the kinds of scandals that would cause the Republican Party to drop someone from their slate.

It’s pathetic that their candidate has to be someone who hasn't even lived in California for over thirty years, though the Democratic Party isn't any better with their obsession with the Boogeyman.

I mean, who cares? That's just a bonus for someone in the Republican Party. Definitely what you want in a candidate.

Schorr pretty much wrapped up his political career by throwing his weight behind Smith. On top of that, he’s been dealing with a lot of internal friction within the City Council organizations for quite a while now.

I wouldn't know. There's probably a core story with more specifics that they're keeping under wraps until after the election... presumably. Not that his lack of political maneuvering within the party helped much.

We have a list here featuring one cabinet minister, a governor, and—if my memory serves me correctly—three mayors. I happen to be somewhat acquainted with one of those three mayors, and frankly, the man struggles to string two coherent sentences together. His public remarks are on par with the most dim-witted, inarticulate football players who find themselves forced to face a microphone after a game. It is my firm belief that he would never even attempt to speak up in US Congress, precisely for that very reason.
