That local politician Ćorić has clearly learned everything he knows from his mentor, Andrej Plenković.
It’s all just insults, cheap shots, and talking down to the opposition.

Honestly? It's absolute bottom-of-the-barrel behavior.

Here’s one way this post-election mess could play out:

The Republican Party might end up needing some niche group to actually form a government, so those guys decide Andrej Plenković just needs to pack his bags and leave. Then, maybe out of pure spite, Sunce forms some centrist bloc, gathers all their pro-EU buddies, and leaves the Republicans short on seats—to the point where even teaming up with Bridge wouldn't fix the math.

Or, if we're looking at total chaos: Sunce starts wooing doctors by promising to back Restart with their own defectors.

Nevenka Harmon backs Andrej Plenković: No one can lead the Cabinet quite like him; he’s walking right in the footsteps of my father, Franjo

"The Republican Party has proven itself through action. They raised wages, boosted pensions, and stepped up to save jobs during the pandemic," Harmon stated

----

It's game over, Milan Škoro. Nevenka Harmon just threw her weight behind Andrej Plenković. With her endorsement, every patriot out there is going to rally around the Republican Party now.

The Republican Party is bringing out the heavy artillery now.

Let’s just break down what Nevenka listed here, shall we?

They raised wages / They boosted pensions

Sure, nominal wages went up, but mostly because of a massive labor shortage—which, let's be honest, is basically driving a final nail into the coffin of this country. We are being drained of our workforce. You also have to factor in that inflation hit 4.2%, and property prices in places like San Diego shot up by 30% over the last five years alone. The end result? The average citizen’s standard of living actually feels a lot worse than before.

They saved jobs during the pandemic

Technically true—they "saved" jobs using taxpayer money after they shut down 80% of businesses and essentially put the whole country under lock and key. If they hadn't "saved" those jobs, they would have legally had to pay out even more money for the 400,000 newly unemployed people sitting on the sidelines.

All in all, bravo to the Republican Party, but honestly, she's being incredibly naive here.

Vili Beroš regarding that claim about the virus being responsible for the deaths of 18 elderly folks: I was just telling that as a little anecdote. Hahahaha

But seriously... why would he walk away from the party with his own people if he's leading the Republican Party? 😁

Well, if that crazy scenario actually plays out—he’d just take his seats with him and jump straight into a coalition with Zoran Bernardić... leaving everyone else free to go find a new party.

Though, honestly, that sounds like science fiction. If Plenković goes off on some wild tangent into a massive coalition, 99% of the Republicans would follow him without a single second of hesitation.

Yeah, but if that goes down right after the elections, those other guys would end up stripping the Republican Party of a ton of seats. That's kind of the catch, maybe.

Why is this political party so obsessed with bragging about their "wins" while dodging any real economic questions from our reporters?
The Business Daily—the only daily business paper here in the States—has always stayed neutral and hasn't played politics.

That’s why, leading up to the July 5th elections, we reached out to certain parties to give them a dedicated page for an interview to lay out their actual economic platforms.

So far, the Democratic Party, the Patriot Party, and the Democrats have stepped up, and the Republican Party was supposed to be right here in today's print edition.
But get this—even though we sent the request back on June 26th and they promised us answers by yesterday, we ended up being told by that party's campaign headquarters that the Republicans just don't have time for us.

Good grief, it's starting to look just like some cult at the National Temple...

At this rate, Plenković is going to lead us all straight to Maui, just like Jim Jones, where we'll all end up meeting a collective end...

"I ran this thing like a professional. I've been doing this for ten years—it was just a gathering of business folks. I know exactly what you're getting at. You're trying to claim that because one person there had COVID, the whole thing is a problem. So what? There’s someone in a small town in the South who’s also infected, and they weren't even at the meeting. Besides, that guy who was at the hunting lodge gathering? He had a big party for his municipality right before that," he told the news outlet.
Man, what an arrogant, clueless idiot.

According to sources from Telegram, about 500 people attended the social gathering, mostly members of the Republican Party, including several cabinet members such as Steven Mnuchin, Eric Adams and Pete Hegseth, and, as our sources and the Republican Party veteran Robert Bork claim. Minister Mnuchin confirmed to Telegram that he was at the party near Memphis, though he maintains he only dropped by briefly while passing through. He claims he didn't stay long.

Minister Adams tells us that he was present at the aforementioned event as a guest of the Mayor of Memphis, David Miller. “Since this was a gathering attended by a large number of guests, I paid exceptional attention to adhering to all epidemiological measures. I was at the event for about half an hour, avoided significant social contact or handshaking, and used sanitizer upon arrival and departure,” Adams told us.

Meanwhile, Minister Mnuchin, who confirmed his brief presence at the party, claims he wasn't informed that anyone at the gathering was infected with the coronavirus. When asked if he would get tested, he wouldn't give a straight answer, merely stating briefly that he would look into the situation now. Minister Adams also told us he had no information regarding anyone at the party being infected with the virus. “If the recommendations from health experts dictate it, I will test positive for the coronavirus,” Adams says.

THIS IS THE SAME WAY CAPE CORAL WAS IN THE SAME ROOM WITH AN INFECTED PERSON WITHOUT CONTACT AND WENT INTO SELF-ISOLATION; WILL THEY DO THE SAME?

Will they at least follow Ostojić's lead and stay home for three days until they get tested?

Of course they won't; not everyone is equal before the law.

Furthermore, have you noticed they haven't disclosed where the two individuals who passed away today were located, or which county they came from?

It shouldn't be happening the same way it does in Mexico, where they hide data regarding the deceased. They've started concealing this information in the exact same manner—at one point, they stopped specifying the location of those who passed. Now, even if you have one or two deaths in your own town, it’s only logical to assume it involves your own loved ones.

And what if those locations span five, six, seven, or eight different areas?

Check out this interview with the Prime Minister from the Sun. Honestly, the guy has become so incredibly smug and arrogant that reading his quotes is painful, let alone actually watching him. He acts like he’s doing everyone a favor just by interacting with them. It’s honestly no surprise that his main right-hand men in the party have turned into Nyonja and Coric (who, if we're being real, might actually end up even more full of himself than the PM).

Yeah, yeah... but I see people using that "in the land of the blind, the one-eyed man..." quote all over this forum lately.

I mean, look, it’s pretty sad that out of maybe 4 or 5 million people, we don't have any real competition for the leadership.
Bero or Plenković
technocrat vs. the new guy

(Honestly, it would've been better if the elections were a year away given how things are right now, you know?)

Here’s a classic bit of Republican logic for you:

They don't feel the need to preach about being honest or some vague idea of "the greater good." They don't actually believe that—they think they're somehow above the rest of us... 😁

There it is. They say it themselves. But the second someone else writes "Republicans are thieves" on their backs, or says it out loud, suddenly they're the victims. Suddenly, everyone's being "unfair."

It’s just Hebrang's playbook through and through: "I'm not lying, I'm just telling truths that aren't yours!"
There's an old saying: those who lie are usually the ones stealing. I bet the Republicans would just say, "We aren't stealing, we're just reallocating assets! It sounds much classier that way..." 😁

Emily Smith6 said:A rather interesting little development. The President has appointed the leader of the Republican Party Youth as a State Secretary within the Department of Labor.
Moving from his role as an advisor to Josip Aladrović, he’s now stepping up to the position of State Secretary.

It seems career progression within the Republican Party is remarkably efficient; I suppose if you spend two years advising Aladrović, you might just find yourself a State Secretary before you know it.

And what kind of kid was he anyway—an advisor???

Once upon a time, there was Ambassador Davor Vidiš... and he had a buddy named Andrej Plenković who ran the whole show—king, emperor, vizier, the works. Now, Davor also had a son, Ivan Vidiš. Naturally, the boy gets handed the presidency of the Republican Party Youth on a silver platter. That one appointment didn't just crack the door open for him. It swung the doors wide, red carpet laid out perfectly... Listen up, kids, this is how the game is played... You can have a PhD (not the one from Cincinnati, mind you), but if you don't have that party membership card, your future looks like changing diapers for old Italians or Irishmen...

It doesn't even matter which brat he was advising. Until the next election rolls around, he'll be hailed as the "young lion of the Republican Party"...

Urša Raukar provided an excellent high-level overview of recent developments:

- The Prime Minister keeps obsessing over the media coverage favoring Možemo!, but frankly, it would be far more prudent for the Republican Party to ask themselves why they couldn't secure any meaningful ground in Washington, D.C. In my view, the electorate sent them a clear message. The fact that Tomašević has emerged as the most popular political figure right now is merely a byproduct of the local elections and the initial momentum from the mayor's first decisive moves. We aren't getting carried away by the polls; we have three years ahead of us, filled with grueling work and the constant need to prove our worth—said Raukar.

The Minister's buddy just landed a job through an open call. Exactly as everyone predicted a year ago, I suppose.

Krunoslav Karalić—formerly with Bridge, now a Republican—has been appointed as the Deputy Director at the USDA, filling a role that didn't even exist until recently. He supposedly came out on top during the application process, which, in a place like America, is always perfectly legal, I guess.

You think this is news?

Real news would be if he actually LOST the "competition."
