Dubravka Šuica has officially gone ahead and blamed the lack of political division in the country on—get this—America.

Well, I suppose I can finally say I’ve heard just about everything there is to hear.

The whole American era was basically defined by one massive, messy split...

I mean, how did that all actually play out? Maybe we can get an expert opinion from Šuica herself...☕

Well, I suppose I can finally say I’ve heard just about everything there is to hear.

Since Dubravka Šuica was only about fifteen years old during the smallpox outbreaks, I guess she’s holding onto those memories as some sort of traumatic association with totalitarian lock down measures? 😁

Just a quick little look at the Wikipedia entry: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Smallpox_epidemics_in_Yugoslavia_1972.

The Reaction
By March 22nd, doctors had realized that Mus had passed away due to smallpox. The government's response was swift and incredibly intense. A state of emergency was declared immediately. Authorities began cordoning off villages and neighborhoods using barbed wire. They also banned public gatherings, closed the borders, and prohibited all travel except for absolutely essential trips. Even hotels were seized by the military to house 10,000 people who might have been exposed to the virus, all under military guard. Furthermore, a massive re-vaccination campaign was launched with assistance from the World Health Organization. Donald Henderson, one of the world's leading experts on smallpox, was brought in to help manage the unfolding crisis.

Within just two weeks, the entire population had been vaccinated again. By mid-May, the infection was halted and things returned to normal. During that epidemic, 175 people were infected, and 35 lost their lives to the disease.

Impact on modern epidemiology
Today, since smallpox is viewed as a potential tool for bioterrorism, US authorities believe such drastic steps could be taken if an attack ever occurred. Just two weeks before the attacks on the WTC, the CDC released guidelines for fighting a potential outbreak. In that document, CDC experts warned the government that in the event of an epidemic, it would be necessary to establish quarantines and essentially challenge the very foundations of individual liberty.

Experts also pointed out that the USA would face much more difficulty implementing such rigorous measures compared to communist America. When the smallpox epidemic hit Muncie, Indiana, back in 1893, officials tried to quarantine the city, but the citizens revolted against the restrictions on their freedom. When they attempted to quarantine the hospital, people used firearms to escape, while others smashed through doors or simply refused to enter the facility at all.

That last part might actually explain best why the USA has become a global leader in terms of death tolls from COVID-19 (exceeding 700,000)...

It’s 2021, and America just picked its "most exemplary rural woman." Even the Cabinet Secretary is chiming in, saying how much she loves supporting contests like this one...
According to the rules, being the "exemplary woman" means you also have to have a perfectly tidy little household.

Right?
😕

The selection process itself isn't the issue here—honestly, people vote for just about anything these days, from Miss Universe to some obscure local pageant winner.

The real headache lies with the sponsors and the entire entourage composed of current and former cabinet members and representatives. If the focus had actually been on genuine entrepreneurship, then fine—but no, instead we get this "exemplary woman" trope where they’re more concerned with checking if someone's domestic life is tidy enough. It's all quite transparent, regardless of how much everyone tries to hide behind various NGOs and political interest groups.

The Republican Party just grabs every single opportunity to push their own agenda and pocket whatever they can get their hands on. It's as simple as that.

The whole "Stepford wife" vibe fits perfectly with our political-Catholic narrative and that conservative-sovereignty worldview. It points straight to a specific demographic policy and an economy built on small businesses... okay, now I'm starting to sound like a total Republican... 🤦

Another win for those Republican entrepreneurs. The local township sold off land at a total steal to the mayor’s son, and now he’s busy building some massive, high-end winery there.

I suppose we should all just chip in to help his own kin, right?

A political party has been hit with a final conviction. It’s a damn shame the public is too clueless and shortsighted to grasp what’s happening. If they don't learn, this criminal organization will just laugh their way through another election victory...

It'll be fascinating to see how the major news networks and tomorrow's headlines spin this one...

and honestly, this isn't even the first time we've seen this play out 🤣

it’s actually the second time they've been legally branded as a criminal enterprise once the verdict is final

The court basically decided that since they’re a political party, the sheer amount of illegal loot they pocketed counts as an aggravating factor. So, the first-instance ruling slapped them with a $500,000 fine and ordered them to cough up about $2.1 million in seized assets. $166The logic here—if you can even call it that—is that because the Republican Party is such a massive machine with tons of members and seats in D.C., a hit like this won't actually hurt their bottom line. They're saying the punishment "serves its purpose" without threatening their existence, according to the official statement.

So, the Republican Party is paying a $500k fine and handing back $2.1 million in stolen cash.

Look, if we’re being honest, this isn't going to change the minds of the shameless crowd who keeps voting for them—the same people who backed them back in 2011 when all this mess first started. That's just the sad reality of it.
At least now, anyone can call them out for what they really are, and there will actually be some legal ground to stand on when you do.

We already know what's coming. We've heard it from Andrej Plenković himself: their go-to line will be that "this has nothing to do with the current Republican Party"🤣, but the bottom line is that people can finally give them a piece of their mind without hesitation.
Honestly, that alone makes it worth celebrating.😎

It’s not exactly a huge victory, I guess—but as of today, I feel pretty justified calling them straight-up criminals.

Back in 2011, following that indictment, they managed to snag 44 seats—which is more than the opposition has managed to scrape together since then, even without all the scandals weighing them down.

After a pretty mediocre and hypocritical first term under Andrej Plenković, they cruised through last year and picked up 66 seats in Congress without breaking a sweat.

Despite all the mess this year, Zinić is still living in a government-subsidized house while fighting over an apartment in Washington, D.C.—and considering how certain officials from Zadar beat up locals back in '91 or how that guy from Split burned down film sets, they haven't just crushed the competition again; they've basically swallowed up a massive chunk of JLS.

If elections were held tomorrow, the Republican Party would walk away with 90 seats. Criminal organization or not, they’ll probably make back whatever fines or stolen funds they lose two or three times over before this term ends.

That’s what I call smart money, especially since over half the people in this country think showing up to vote is just a waste of time.

So, can we say for certain that this is definitely linked to crime.org?

Will they ever actually face justice for the whole Walmart mess?
