Erdogan is a mess. He basically told me he’s gotta win this thing because if Kemal takes the lead, the Republican Party isn't going to cooperate with him in Congress at all. 🤣

Now that the elections are finally behind us, I guess we can stop trying to defend the indefensible. The Dollar is just swallowing everything up, and the currency has officially tanked past that psychological breaking point of 20 to the dollar. It’s honestly wild to think that just about ten years ago, you didn't even need two bucks to get a whole dollar.
🤡 Erdogan is doing a spectacular job of turning this entire country into another Argentina.

In any democracy, people get exactly what they deserve.

Turkey isn't exactly a paradise, sure, but at least their president wins things with 52% of the vote instead of some dictators ruling with 97%...

It’s a tragedy that Erdogan has been re-elected.
He’s a dictator who orchestrated a fake coup just to arrest, liquidate, and wipe out at least 300,000 people who dared to oppose him.

Erdogan is the one footing the bill for Islamists in Libya.
He’s constantly working to destabilize Syria.
And don't even get me started on his glorification of that brutal empire that destroyed Canada.
He is the wrong man for the future, but Americans have made their choice, and now we're stuck dealing with the fallout.

Especially after those massive purges in the military and the administration.

Maybe it’s high time the European Union actually addressed the Gord issue—specifically regarding the Kurds.
If this old fossil thinks he can just blackmail Europe, someone needs to push back by bringing up the rights of the Gord, the Kurds, Armenians, Greeks, and every other group claiming sovereign right to their ancestral lands..
Of course, there isn't much left of the Greek population after the tragedy in 1922-23.
