Is it actually possible to just... wipe away all that bitterness and those cold, lingering grudges from your mind?

I’m mostly wondering if anyone out there has actually pulled it off. Because, honestly, theoretically speaking, wouldn't that be the dream? Imagine avoiding all those pointless arguments and just holding onto some much-needed peace and quiet.

Do you think letting go of that resentment would be a solid step toward finding true forgiveness? And maybe even help clear out the mental clutter in my own head?

Freezing🤔😵

Can you actually manage to write a single coherent post?
Do me a favor and reread what you just put out there. You’re talking to everyone else—but surely it doesn't hurt *you* to realize you've just butchered the language.

And this topic—well, it’s as nonsensical as most of yours. Honestly, these questions feel like they were pulled from a second-grade worksheet. It’s an insult, really—but hey, someone had to say it. Sorry.

What’s even confusing about the word "semi-frozen"? There are things out there—ideas, thoughts, whatever—that sit right at the halfway mark. Or maybe they're slightly less than half, or slightly more, but we just round them off to fifty-fifty, right?

Everything makes sense if you look at it correctly. It’s only this constant push to force an opinion and the desperate craving for censorship that makes zero sense to me.

If you cut "everything" out, then "everything" isn't everything anymore, right? Is it "half-everything"?

What kind of dragons are you even fighting, man? This is your topic, but it feels like you're constantly choking on these radical ideas, acting like censorship is the only issue—when it really isn't here, now, or ever. Give me a different example. Just a quick "description of half-hate." Or define how "half-hate" differs from the hardcore, full-blown stuff. Is this "half-hate" thing just some halfway point? Like, say you're rushing to the bathroom because you're desperate, and midway through trying to deal with a massive mess, you suddenly pinch an eel shut halfway? Like, do you need half of it, or do you need to hold onto it? The real question after that dilemma is "how do you get rid of the damn eel completely?" Do you squeeze less hard? Or is it just all or nothing? You either let it all out, or you hold it in when needed (since hate works the same way). Do you do things halfway? Are you a half-human? Or what's the math on that... since it seems like you can't calculate a whole if you're always leaving out pieces that actually matter...

Half-hearted hatred🤔 If that even makes sense, then I suppose you could argue there's such a thing as half-hearted love, too.🤔

Carl Rivera43, would you have preferred if things were nudged toward being moderately positive?

So, what is it about hating someone that makes you want to just... scrub that feeling away?

It’s not like I have a specific grudge against anyone. It just feels more like this lingering, half-resentful vibe. I guess a lot of people have let me down over the years, you know?

Please. Just take the leap. Forgive all those selfish people—your parents, your siblings, the censors, everyone being pushy. Forgive yourself and the whole damn world.

I can forgive them as human beings, sure. But I struggle with forgiving certain actions. Honestly, maybe some things shouldn't even be forgiven? If I did, wouldn't that just look like I'm agreeing with what they did?

It’s not about agreeing or disagreeing. It’s about that peace of mind you only get once you let it go.

Even if we managed to tackle conscious hatred, we’d still be left staring down unconscious bias.
Our conscious mind is really just the tip of the iceberg.

Hatred doesn't mean much if you just look at it as some isolated variable. That said, denying how intense and real that emotion can be wouldn't be honest, fair, or even right.

There’s such a thing as constructive "righteous anger"—kind of like that whole concept of the righteous warrior you see popping up in certain religious texts—but I don't think that's what you're getting at here...

But honestly? Yeah. It’s so much easier to find that calm when you aren't constantly carrying around all that negativity from people who were supposed to be in your corner.

Well, even with that logic, I think I might still be struggling. I still feel this lingering sort of resentment toward certain people (even though most of them aren't even in my life anymore).

I just really want to learn how to shift my focus back to the present moment.

Of course not. But hey, will they eventually think that way? Only time will tell.

Well, being "half-frozen" beats pure, unadulterated hatred any day. That’s progress right there. Real talk: you're the one cooking up that hate in your own head. So, every time you start feeling that bitterness rising, give yourself a reality check. Remind yourself not to go there. Make a deal with yourself to cut it out. Instead of feeding the grudge, try picking calm, understanding, or just letting it go.

And hey, if someone’s actually riding your back or harassing you for no reason? We'll just go handle them so they stop bothering you—not because we're hateful, but out of love for our own peace.

You could also just turn yourself into a powerhouse—built, trained, and brimming with confidence. Once you're like that, nobody’s gonna dare mess with you, and you won't even have the urge to hate anyone.

Bottom line: you gotta master yourself. We all stumble and act weak sometimes. Just brush the dust off and keep moving. Learn from the screw-ups. Aim to be stronger overall, keep that warrior spirit alive, but keep your heart steady, and you won't need to carry hate around. Hate is ultimately just weakness. True strength is love, mental and physical grit, staying power, sacrifice, mercy, empathy, and forgiveness.
