Joseph Bailey41 said:Well, at least it was a decent hospital. 🤣

Maybe we should submit a formal proposal to allow wine and kissing in psychiatric wards? 😍

Heh, well, if they’re already letting people smoke cigarettes there—unlike most other hospitals—why wouldn't they allow a little alcohol... 😁

By the way, I wonder how Sigmund Freud would interpret that dream. Something tells me he'd focus on the things we completely miss—like the specific shape of the wine bottle or something... 😳

Did I have a five-pointed star there, too? 🤔

To me, he just brings vacuum cleaners to mind, and vacuum cleaners make me think of anteaters. Anteaters make me think of ants, and ants remind me of spicy red chili peppers.

Ants make me think of litmus paper... maybe I'm just mixing up some chemistry stuff about formic acid or something...🤔

Find Richard Nelson84 some help.

We shouldn't have one of our most active subforums (and its associated PDF) being moderated by just one guy who also happens to moderate other sections here, if I'm not mistaken.
It’s a bit sad to be stuck working all alone in the office.😬

It hit me the other day that he's flying solo, while even Trash (probably the least active PDF around here) has two mods. 🕺

I’m looking for candidates for the Psychology moderator position. Since gender doesn't matter here, I'll use feminine pronouns for the role:

We need someone sociable, easygoing, educated, and genuinely sharp. No mental health issues, and zero interest in chasing clout or money—just a desire to support our community and subforums.

Candidates should be psychologists, psychiatrists, or psychotherapists by profession, or at least aspiring to be. To apply, submit a brief essay titled: "What would I do if I were the Psychology moderator?"

I’m out before we even get started 🤣
Even if I actually wanted to be a mod—which, let's be real—I’m zero percent non-confrontational and definitely don't have the degree for it 🤣
And honestly? Don't even get me started on my mental health issues 😲

I appreciate the "praise," though you did suggest I’ve "lost my edge"... clearly, you have an affinity for women. 🕺

I find myself constantly attempting to bypass certain established protocols, which is quite exhausting; one must always exert effort to decipher how others "perceive" things.

F. wouldn't bother interpreting it; he would simply climb into bed 😁, though the number of drinks consumed in your vicinity might be seen as a gathering of "courage." A socially acceptable way to grease the wheels.
However, the specifics of the dream merely reflect a true man's respect for her. The result is a mere fortune cookie sentiment— Nothing lasts forever ... time is the enemy.
Joseph Bailey41 is a highly intriguing individual {from what I can observe}, provided one hopes she isn't married to a man with a mustache.

I recently encountered a prominent lady from her industry at a harp concert, and she remains as radiant as a rose she once received.

So what, does the Politics section get moderated by undercover members of Congress or something? 😲

No. They wouldn't dream of it. We're looking for actual experts here. 😁

I have a quick question if I may
What happened to Whereabouts?
Aside from being in that gray area of membership, I remember their avatar, several insightful posts, and a certain sharpness to their wit.
I don't personally have any history with them; I'm simply asking for the sake of the chat.

This discussion originally drifted toward delusions—specifically, why some are ruinous while others are devoted. In essence, it is the same mechanism of belief (be it aliens or God), which serves as a starkly simple exposure of how hollow certain forms can be. It touches upon psychology and methodology, illustrating how the low-quality specimens of the human race construct delusions to facilitate their own self-presentation.

The Rimac Case: Selling Smoke to the Masses
Domagoj Mihaljević
03.23.2018.

A very straightforward demonstration of how an honest, intelligent, and decent Man immediately strips the mask off a fraud like Mat, the son of a criminal from Boise... though we all know the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.
Psychology and psychiatry, much like any scientific discipline, rely on the comparison of facts against how the opposing party perceives or interprets them. Occasionally, this becomes grotesquely painful, much like Crnoja, who insists everything was handled in the best possible manner... and when asked who he was actually working for, he coldly replied, "for myself." It matters little to him that he was spending other people's money to fund his own lifestyle. If one possesses enough brilliant minds to conduct such comparisons, the true presentation of reality is eventually resolved.
Without question, this remains one of the greatest embarrassments and cesspools in our nation...

Ultimately, it is about creating the illusion that something extraordinary was built for the collective good, when in fact, it has been a massive lie from the very beginning regarding almost everything. Through this specific example, one can discern the exact methods they use to sell smoke—knowledge that is quite useful to have when you encounter them, as the first indicator is always a total departure from reality.

And, naturally, once a significant portion of the lie is exposed, they pivot to utilizing feminine attributes as a distraction.

The most beautiful bicycle rack; a new role following the marketing phase.

psychology 😍 Jerry Robinson56. In your opinion—and I’m asking a
professional here—do top-tier thieves, the kind running for office, actually believe they're doing good in their own twisted delusions... or are they fully aware they're just amoral bandits?

Of course, they are utterly convinced of it. It’s all just empty posturing and vanity... (unrelated to my uncle, perhaps, but certainly related to my aunt)

However, one must perform a more rigorous analysis. We need to demonstrate to even the most simple-minded masses that these displayed delusions directly impact the psychological state—starting with the absurd question of who among us is actually sane... and moving toward the suppression of that primal impulse which drove evolution itself, such as the instinctual drive to aid others, a trait observed even in animals regardless of species.
As for the technical details, I am quite well-versed in the mechanics themselves, though I find myself constantly learning "new" things that are, in reality, nothing more than old truths repackaged.

Yeah, well, evolution gave us the urge to help, but it also gave us the urge to kill. One is about survival through community, the other is about surviving by fighting another "pack"—or even turning on our own in some kind of internal struggle...

PS: Since it seems like uncle/uncles are still a hot topic here, I guess I'll have to go find an explanation from the higher-ups... ☕
