Whatever, just figure it out properly 😉

Ugh, I think I’m eventually gonna split this into a few different threads on various subforums...
I'm still pretty new here, so honestly, everything feels a bit 🙂 and it's not exactly making things easier... 😢

That’s actually a good call. I usually split my stuff between natural sciences, philosophy, history... you just can't cram everything into one single thread.

By the way, what on earth is that thing on your avatar? 😲

I swear I said somewhere that I was gonna make one big thread covering all my questions—okay, maybe not *all* of them, but everything for this current "phase"—but it keeps turning into a bunch of different topics instead. 🤣

I was thinking about starting a thread called "talk a little about psychology" where everyone could drop their wishes, suggestions, or visions for the Psychology subforum, but then I realized we already have a thread with almost the exact same title.

Look, you can see for yourselves that Psychology (plus the Psych Couch) is a pretty well-organized section, but maybe you’ve got ideas to make it even better? Well, go ahead. Speak up. Everything you really want eventually comes to fruition if you ask for it.🙂

Don't be afraid to be ambitious—if you are, we'll just spin the chat off into its own dedicated thread.

Maybe we should just spin up a dedicated "neuroscience" subforum... give us some room to dive into psychophysics too. 😁

It appears someone recently attempted to start a discussion regarding psychology, though it was apparently rejected.
Regardless, it would be prudent to challenge certain misconceptions surrounding psychosis and similar diagnoses in favor of colorful pills that will undoubtedly alter you—though certainly not necessarily "for the better."
Consider this: if actual psychopaths (those capable of masking their true nature) can exercise self-control, is it not possible that you—the healthy or merely semi-stable—might also succumb 😁 to mere circumstantial pressures before seeking assistance.
One should practice some semblance of self-compassion to begin with; we all falter occasionally. What matters is refusing to persist in those errors. 😁

Oh, wow... pure gold. Come on then—why don't you talk a little about psychology while sitting on a Freudian couch? Let's see if any free associations pop up... maybe a slip of the tongue, a random dream, or something else entirely... 😁

I have one wise suggestion of my 🙂own.

Find Richard Nelson84 some help.

We shouldn't have one of our most active subforums (and its associated PDF) being moderated by just one guy who also happens to moderate other sections here, if I'm not mistaken.
It’s a bit sad to be stuck working all alone in the office.😬

It hit me the other day that he's flying solo, while even Trash (probably the least active PDF around here) has two mods. 🕺

That is truly wise advice. 🙂 I am all in on this suggestion! ☕

Yeah. To me, it just feels like wrestling in the mud. 😁

(If anyone else wants to jump in with their own association, feel free. 😳 )

So you're saying Saugaro and I are just half-naked, rolling around in the mud? 🤔

Op op op 😁

Btw, I forgot to mention—I actually had a dream about you a week or two ago... no joke. And you looked just like your avatar here, just transformed into real life... well, since we're touching on psychoanalysis and dreams now... 😁

Anyway, I don't know why, but it was in some hospital, and you were lying in a bed making out with someone non-stop while I sat at a nearby table drinking wine with a group of people. (Wine and a hospital 🙄, dreams are weird). Basically, you're just constantly hooked up with this guy, and there I am, sipping drinks with the other patients, thinking "wtf, I didn't realize she was this indecent in real life." 🤣

Honestly, I really did dream that. I think there were other people in there that I'm close to in real life too... but that's irrelevant for now... 😁

Well, at least it was a decent hospital. 🤣

Maybe we should submit a formal proposal to allow wine and kissing in psychiatric wards? 😍
