Look, I was never actually picking on her in person. Honestly, if anything, she just treated me like I didn't matter much. It's tough trying to connect with people who act totally cold toward you. Maybe you should ask yourself why it matters so much to you that everyone likes and accepts you. Why does it bother you so deeply when someone stays distant, no matter how hard you try to win them over or grab their attention? Where is that coming from? Whose affection are you still chasing? Usually, it’s something from the older generation. You say you feel more comfortable around older people... think about that.

I didn't get much affection growing up at home, and being such an outcast in high school didn't help matters either. It took me a long, long time after graduation to finally find my footing. Honestly, being that isolated for so long just made it hard for people around me to truly get who I am.

This weekend’s been pretty lonely, honestly. Just sitting here waiting for work to pick back up. I’m trying my best to stay positive, though. No sense in crying over spilled milk, right?
