If fascism weren't still an issue here in the States, maybe the police wouldn't feel the need to deploy so aggressively out in the field. I guess it’s just how things work.

I mean, look, at the end of the day, the police in any country have to step in when things like this happen. It's just how it works, I guess. You can't really have a functioning society without that kind of intervention. Maybe it's messy sometimes, sure, but it's part of the job description for law enforcement everywhere.
