We all know that one person who just can't seem to keep it clean—always leaning into the dirty jokes or coarse language, right?

What’s your take on people like that? You know, the ones who constantly push the envelope with vulgarity or constant sexual innuendos just to get a reaction out of the group?
What kind of personality does that actually point to, and how do you guys really feel when you're hanging out with them?

Why do you think some people feel this massive urge to stand out by being crude or talking about sex non-stop? 🤷

What are they actually trying to achieve there... is it just a sign of something deeper? Like, are there certain character traits that always seem to travel with that kind of behavior?

Humans have this unfortunate tendency to dwell on what troubles us or brings us sorrow. We obsess over fantasies we can't actually touch. Personally, I tend to swear quite a bit—and not just mild profanity—and I’ll occasionally drop a sexual comment here and there...
As for my faith? Let's just say my belief in God is shaky at best. Perhaps that’s why He ends up appearing so frequently in my curses...
Then there's rudeness. Isn't rudeness just a cheap imitation of strength used by people with zero self-esteem? They are always the loudest, most obnoxious ones in a room or any social setting. Why? Because if I mock you, maybe I can avoid making a joke at my own expense that would make me feel pathetic.

It's like that old saying goes: you either swing or you get hit. It's much easier to aim a joke at someone else to avoid being the target myself—especially if I pick someone with similarly fragile confidence who rarely fights back.
What do I think of people like that? Honestly, it just weighs on me. What irritates me more, though, is when someone lacks the social intelligence to distinguish between joking around and being serious. That's my main gripe.
Sometimes I'm not in the mood for jokes, and other times I'm certainly not in the mood for heavy discussions. Everything needs to be balanced; a constant ebb and flow. Otherwise, I simply exit the situation.

I enjoy joking around about sex, but I don't do it in every single social circle—so I doubt I'm causing nearly as much of a scandal as you are. On the flip side, I swear my ass off (😳), but I fail to see the connection between profanity and having "unfulfilled desires" 🤔.

Look, I'm not exactly an angel—but yeah—shit, damn, hell, fuck, what the hell, give me a break... that kind of thing 🤷
.
I wouldn't go so far as to say my vocabulary is limited—it’s not like I can't find a better way to say "what the hell are you doing" —it's just... sometimes the words just fly out too fast.
Of course I have a filter; I can act like a total lady when the situation calls for it 🙂, I just don't feel like performing when I'm not 😬.

Tbh, I haven't really viewed swearing as some sort of issue because... I don't even think about it 🤔. It's just how I express myself, and aside from "bad upbringing" (🤣), I don't see any other reason 🤷.

I honestly think people who turn every single joke or casual chat into something sexual—where everything either starts or ends with a dirty double entendre—just lack actual eloquence. It’s like they run out of things to talk about in everyday conversation, or maybe they just aren't physically or intellectually engaging enough to hold an interest, so they resort to that instead. At least, that's been my experience quite a bit. 😊

Personally, I believe that sexual connotations and being eloquent have absolutely nothing to do with one another. I know plenty of highly articulate individuals (if they weren't, they wouldn't be able to hold down certain professions, like working in major news networks, for instance), yet there isn't a single topic that can't be instantly pivoted into something involving sex. Granted, I also know people who are just a bit more frustrated in that area of their lives, so they steer every conversation exclusively in that direction. But those people aren't witty or interesting; they’re just frankly pathetic.
As for profanity—I've noticed that the more intelligent someone is, the better they are at crafting clever, original curses. In fact, it's precisely through those specific swear words that they capture the true essence of what they are describing. That doesn't mean they lack "finer" vocabulary; quite the opposite.
The only real factor is knowing where and with whom you use them. For example, if you are teaching a class in an American public school and giving kids a passionate lecture about duty and honor, you would certainly choose a more appropriate vocabulary. But if you're discussing that exact same topic with a friend or a partner, then it is completely acceptable to use much more colorful language to describe the absolute misery of life.

I was just speaking from my own perspective, but I guess the real issue lies with my personality. It’s clearly not how I'm wired—I struggle with that kind of communication even with those closest to me, so I might have misread people a bit too harshly.

It’s kind of a taboo subject, but honestly, what else can you say? 😁
Maybe they're just free spirits—or if not that... maybe they're actually compensating for something or hiding parts of themselves. Simple language can totally flip an intellectual phrase on its head; suddenly, you've said something serious without even trying.

They aren't being terrible. They're just joyful. 😍

But I guess you wouldn't get that if you hadn't read Heraclitus. ☕

You guys just don't get it. Serpieri’s Druuna is easily the most erotic and unmatched masterpiece out there 🧐😁

Honestly, it all depends on who’s doing the talking, because I actually find it somewhat charming when it comes from people who are generally composed, level-headed, and focused—the types who carefully weigh their words 99% of the time, making it hit much harder when things finally go sideways...

But if someone just uses profanity as a filler word or relies on constant cynicism to get through the day, it isn't funny; in fact, it’s just exhausting. To me, that kind of behavior screams a lack of motivation, pure laziness, or deep-seated disappointment, coupled with zero grit—just swearing at every little inconvenience without any real purpose behind it.

I mean, everyone’s different. For some people, swearing is just their whole vocabulary because they grew up without much, while others use it just to add emphasis... then there are those who are just plain unrefined.

And using sexual innuendo or being extra suggestive during a conversation can mean a million things. You really have to get to know someone first to figure out what they're actually getting at or if there's something deeper bothering them...

In my experience, it’s pure immaturity, hands down. Just a total lack of class and basic decency.
The desperate need to shock people is just classic attention whores behavior... though depending on the situation, it might just be a way to vent some pent-up frustration or an impulsive outburst of anger. 🤷

It’s just a derivative of what's already been decided, a reality that’s been subtly baked in from the start. Acting all "classy" while you spread liver pâté—check the link—using three different knives. One for the heavy lifting, one to smooth it out, and a third for those delicate little details. But honestly, if you're just swallowing this cooked garbage, you don't even need the fancy cutlery. It's nothing more than some imaginary numbers on a spreadsheet.

Typically, the people who rely on constant vulgarity for their sense of humor are the ones who have either never had sex or are just terrible at it.
