Issues with Roku box and high-speed internet

We just decided to "upgrade" our internet speed through AT&T to a "super fast" 1 Gb/s connection. Everything seems to be running perfectly on paper, but my Xiaomi box started acting up immediately—it keeps stuttering and freezing up.

The settings clearly show that it’s "connected," yet the interruptions just keep happening.
It isn't constant; it mostly hits me in the late afternoon and during the evening. I don't think it has anything to do with the number of users online, since it happens regardless. Has anyone else dealt with something similar? Or does anyone have an idea on how to fix this? I've already tried resetting it and running updates, but nothing helps.

Any Wi-Fi gadgets sitting closer to the router than the Roku could be causing interference and dragging down the speeds. Honestly, just try messing with its placement a bit—maybe tilt it left, right, or even flip it vertically by about an inch or two. It might give those internal antennas a better line of sight to the router and help the signal pull through better.
It’s such a bummer there isn't an ethernet port just to test things out...

I just hooked up the cheapest little Chinese USB to ethernet adapter I could find, and honestly, everything is running perfectly over the cable now.
