Hey everyone—I’ve run into a bit of a headache with my dual-monitor setup. My PC isn't exactly a powerhouse—it's a mid-range older build—but it does exactly what I need it to do, so I can't complain too much. Anyway, I hooked up a 40-inch TV via HDMI and paired it with a smaller secondary monitor, about 20 inches. The issue is that when I look at them side-by-side—even if I'm not running the same content on both—the image on the big TV looks significantly worse than the small one. It's washed out and just lacks clarity, which really confuses me since the Samsung TV is actually newer than the smaller screen, which happens to be a premium brand. I already tried swapping out my graphics card, thinking maybe it was an old card struggling to keep up, but honestly, it's just a decent middle-of-the-road unit I've had for a while. That didn't fix anything. Now, I'm starting to suspect the HDMI cable might be the culprit, even though it's brand new—though it is a long 30-foot run. What do you guys think? Has anyone else dealt with this kind of quality drop? I even tried using the TV as my only monitor, and the result was exactly the same.
