Oh, what a brilliant idea... maybe I’ll show up... maybe I’ll even call my psychiatrist to tag along—just so she can confirm whether she also suffers from a phobia of seeing strange faces and pure madness

...otherwise, you have those three innate fears—you know, the unlearned ones—fear of falling (I assume), fear of loud noises, and fear of unfamiliar faces... so for anyone actually struggling with social anxiety, this whole thing is basically just a toddler having a meltdown

By the way, can someone just tell me where we’re meeting up at Central Park? I really don't feel like scrolling through this whole thread to find it. 😁

Let's just meet by that weird gadget that measures everything living! 😍

I'm actually pretty glad there's going to be a good turnout... it'll be nice to finally socialize a bit in real life.
Everyone's such a tough guy behind a keyboard... 🥳

I just grabbed my ticket. The schedule for the kitchen service is looking a little bit sparse, but honestly, I don't mind—I'll just hang out and wait for 3 or 4 hours. 🤣

Do you want me to head to the main station earlier? Just making sure you aren't showing up solo.

If that works for you, I'm down. 😁

To be perfectly honest? Yes, I did.🙄

There are plenty of people around, but fine... I’ll just clench my teeth and hope for the best..😁

Just make sure you show up. It feels like everyone is going to be shoving their way through... we might actually have to sprint from Central Park to find a restroom! 🤣🤣 🙂
And imagine that—everyone doing it in perfect corporate unison. Thank God for wristbands! 😂😂

So, who else is coming along?
Let me know if you're in. I'll put together an alphabetical list and bring it with me so we can do a quick head count once we meet up. That way we can make sure nobody got left behind before we finally hit the road...

Thanks!

😂🥳

I’m looking for some solid recommendations for a good psychiatrist, too. I’ll likely end up making an appointment myself. 🙂

I’m always in NYC at the worst possible times. 😬 I always end up missing out on things by just a few days. 😢

Ah, that’s a shame. Hopefully we can make another meetup happen and you'll actually be able to swing it next time.

Hmm, since we’re expecting a pretty decent turnout, and there's a good chance we might get rained out, what's the backup plan? Should we have a rain check or somewhere else to head?

I'm pretty wiped out right now, but once I get my act together and finish up this physical therapy, I'll definitely swing by.🙂

We'll figure out a way... honestly, we should just put it to a vote! haha 😂😂😂

@ ghost - getting used to things happens fast, then the socializing follows right after.😍

So, I took a quick look at the forecast, and it looks like we won't be dealing with any rain tomorrow afternoon. We might even catch a little sunshine! It should stay pretty mild, maybe somewhere between 60 and 68 degrees.

As for snacks, I was thinking we could just grab some cookies to munch on while we hang out.

The benches with the tables should be right over in Times Square, just across from Central Park.
