What time works?

Alright, let's open this up for discussion. It's a public topic now, so we'll spend until tomorrow evening trying to nail down a solid definition.

I won't be able to make it

I’m penciling myself in for Friday the 28th. Since I have to head into the outpatient clinic, I’ll probably be commuting to New York City three times a week. That means I’ll be grabbing a monthly transit pass, so I should be able to swing by more hangouts. 🙂 Anyway, I'll let you guys know how things shake out. But we’re definitely seeing each other on Friday the 28th.

Look, you can't just drop a "we're meeting tomorrow" out of nowhere.
Since I didn't hear a peep about this until tonight, I went ahead and made plans with my friends.

You really need to give us some notice on the date and let the moderators know so they can add the date to the thread title.

Yeah, so, it’s actually happened a few times where we ended up hanging out on the exact same day we planned it. One of those September Sunday mornings, we all just decided to make it happen, and by that evening, the five of us were already together.

But hey, it is what it is. Like I said, I'm just waiting until noon tomorrow to see how things shake out.

Alright, mark your calendars for Saturday the 29th!

As far as I'm concerned, the evening news works just fine for me.

It might actually be better if we aim for around 5:00 or 5:30 PM—since there are so many of us and those last buses run pretty early—that way we can keep the conversation going longer. That’s just my suggestion, anyway... and honestly, I don't plan on being sober by then.🙂

Are we still on for Friday the 28th?

So, Friday the 28th is more of a casual afternoon coffee vibe, but then we've got the official stuff happening on Saturday the 29th. That's the plan!

Works for me. 🙂 If we could aim for about 3 or 4, that’d be just perfect for me.
