It's because most of the members live in Chicago.

If you want to organize something, just coordinate with people in your own area and put that in the title. It really isn't that complicated, is it? 🕺

I wouldn't exactly say everyone is from the big cities; honestly, this feels more like blatant discrimination to me... but whatever, go ahead and hold your little meetings.

If you wanted to host a meetup in, say, Indianapolis, you’d just organize it there. You'd put the location and time in the title, and whoever wants to make the trip would show up. I don't see the issue here.🤷

Maybe next time try approaching this with a little less arrogance; it really comes through in your post. This user is new here and probably hasn't picked up on the local etiquette yet. It’s better to just explain things clearly to her.

Look, shadowbear9, since I actually enjoy helping people—and I already mentioned this to you in a private message—feel free to post here that you'd like to host a get-together in, say, Indianapolis. You can invite anyone from that area who might be interested. Once you have enough people on board, just settle on a time and a place, meet up, and then come back here to share how it went... but before you do that, just let the site moderators know your plans so they can update the thread subheader with your details. 👍
