I'm wondering the same thing.🙂

When I first signed up for this forum about ten years ago, I mostly stuck to the psychology section—back then, we didn't even have the Psychoanalyst digital platform to rely on. Over the years, I've branched out and started posting in other communities too, but I always find myself drifting back to the psychology threads because there's just something special about them. I was thinking it might be fun if we all got together this Saturday at a local bakery; there’s a really great spot over in Cleveland near The New York Times, though honestly, I'm open to any cute little shop you all might suggest. You are all more than welcome to join us if you happen to see this 🙂 🙂

I can’t quite believe it, but I’m officially celebrating my 10th anniversary as a member of this forum.😛 🙂
So, since we’ve all been hanging out here for so long, I was wondering if anyone would be up for getting together in person sometime? Is there any interest in a little meetup?👍

I find myself similarly inclined toward joining the ranks in New York City. Might I inquire if there are any specific prerequisites involved—perhaps a certain minimum diagnosis or a required amount of time spent on this subforum...😁

No prerequisites here, so just jump right in. Welcome!

I’m a fairly antisocial person, though I realize there are several things I need to change. I’ve never been particularly fond of socializing or meeting new people. That said, this forum actually attracts high-quality individuals—mostly psychology enthusiasts. It would be interesting to actually meet and speak face-to-face with people who share my interests and worldview. While this online space is great, and I’ve received plenty of solid advice from similar minds, I wonder if anyone here would be interested in an organized meetup in New York City at a local pub? I notice that certain groups in the US host these kinds of gatherings quite often. There is certainly enough talent here to make such an event worth organizing. 😌

Is anyone up for grabbing a coffee or a drink sometime this weekend? The weather is looking pretty great, so I figured...
A few Americans are heading out to Appalachia this Sunday... maybe someone from Psychic would be interested in joining us?🙂

I was actually quite keen on making the trip out to Appalachia myself, but since I don't have a car and this get-together was organized a bit too late for someone like me who relies on the train, I think I'll have to pass. On the flip side, I'm also not particularly fond of the idea of being squeezed into a tight space in a car with total strangers. 🤷
