Americans are slowly drifting apart... Even here in the psychology department, people are too emotionally numb for any real socializing. It's a shame.

Americans are practically wired for loneliness, aren't they? It’s like it’s built into our DNA. We’re all just desperately craving some actual human connection.
I think we’ve got everything backward here. 🤣

So, is anyone actually up for hanging out this weekend? We could all meet up in downtown Chicago near Millennium Park for a nice stroll and grab a drink, depending on what everyone's allowed to have these days.🙂 Last time we tried to make this happen, everything fell through because a few of us ended up heading out to the Finger Lakes with some Americans instead.

If I wasn't totally wiped out from work, I'd definitely swing by. Honestly, I'd probably show up more often on Saturdays than Sundays!

If it doesn't happen Saturday, it's definitely going down Wednesday or Monday.
Either count me in or don't, whatever... I'm not doing math for you. Between Thursday and Monday...

People seem to be here, I suppose... Americans certainly have some unique ways of socializing. This whole atmosphere feels far too depressive for any actual meaningful interaction.

I don't have a formal diagnosis or anything—basically, I’m just "socially acceptable" crazy. I've just always been fascinated by psychology, so I find myself lurking in the Psychology threads every now and then. Honestly, I've concluded that there are some pretty damn interesting people hanging out in here...

I'm going to have to sit this one out since I'm heading down to the coast before the weekend hits, but once I'm back from my beach trip, I'd love to join you guys.
