For me, both Will Smith and Martin Lawrence have always been standout performers... especially Martin with his unique way of playing things up... As for these Bad Boys movies... they're honestly just kind of trash

I think this is top-tier. Bad Boys are absolute comedy classics, just like Mad Max.
Just seeing Will Smith and Martin Lawrence on screen is enough to get you laughing; you don't need anything else.

If those are considered classics, then the whole genre is in serious trouble. The first Bad Boys is... alright, I guess? Decent action, kind of a dumb premise, but worth a watch. The second one is just more mindless nonsense, zero actual humor. And Fast & Furious... well, there's a tiny bit of comedy in there, I suppose.

You just need to see Will Smith and Martin Lawrence on screen and you're already laughing—you don't even need anything else.

Oh, yeah, Martin... who looks like he put on like 110 pounds and is basically in a coma, while still trying to pull that same old "emotional" shtick from the second movie. Hilarious.

The first one was actually pretty fun. Is it smart? Not even close. But honestly, if you just need something solid playing in the background while you're doing other stuff, those Bayev movies hit the spot perfectly.

The second one was a complete waste of time, and honestly, looking at where things are headed, the third one looks like more of the exact same garbage. It’s just a loop. Same tired jokes, that ridiculous gravity-defying gunplay, those same predictable corners... it's all just carbon copies of what we already sat through. Why even bother?

Looks like Martin Lawrence is totally ready to jump straight into filming Big Momma's House without even bothering with the makeup. Honestly, who needs it?

Has anyone caught this yet? It looks like they're already teasing a fourth installment

Honestly, I am absolutely loving this! For me, Bad Boys is hands down one of my all-time favorite comedy franchises—it just hits different, you know? It’s right up there with classics like Ride Along for me. Just pure, unadulterated fun!

I mean, especially looking at Martin Lawrence lately—he’s definitely carrying a little extra weight these days—but man, you don't even need anything else once they're on screen. Look, an 8-year gap when you're young doesn't feel like much, but once you're getting older, it’s a whole different story—especially since the third installment didn't show up until 17 years later! So yeah, it's definitely not the same thing, not even close. I mean, obviously, 8 and 17 are two completely different numbers, right?

Think about it this way: if I'm 28 and my girlfriend is 20, it's not a huge deal at all.
But if I'm 37 and she's 20? Now we're talking about a massive difference.

I caught it yesterday and honestly, I was pleasantly surprised. Everything just clicked—the cinematography, the acting, the script, the pacing, even that self-deprecating humor. It all worked together perfectly.

To be fair, I've never been much of a fan of the franchise. I can't even remember if I saw the first two installments. I went into this one with an open mind just looking to unwind and relax after a long day, and man, it did not disappoint.

Man, this trend of reviving old franchises is getting out of hand 🙏

I remember watching the original on VHS back in the day 🙏 🤦

What’s next? Maybe Eddie Murphy jumping back into a new Beverly Hills Cop, or even Lethal Weapon 5? It’s crazy that it’s only been 22 years since the last one

Looks like Beverly Hills Cop 4 is officially happening. 😁

I mean, let them revive those old franchises if they want, but personally, I think we really need to take a breather from all these constant reboots. They just feel cheap. Like, look at the Star Trek 2009 reboot, or the reboot of The Mummy, or whatever else they're cycling through lately. It’s just not a good move.

Now, sequels? Those are always a win in my book.
