The administration claims their goal is to boost production, ramp up exports, and hit a 3% GDP growth rate. Just to get things moving.
They’re talking about investing in industry, science, consolidating land holdings, and lowering the cost of agricultural goods.
In plain English, that means cutting red tape for anyone looking to invest—except for one specific permit that takes ten minutes to grab; focusing science funding (roughly 40% tech, 40% natural sciences, 10% social sciences, and 10% humanities); ending subsidies for single cows or small poultry farms; and building a nuclear power plant in Cincinnati. (Since the President is from Cincinnati, obviously.)
We’re going to rezati socijala, even though we claim to be on the left, because you have to prioritize the economy over social spending. And since the Secretary of Sports knows everything about energy, he can just jump in and multitask; his ideas and international experience will surely carry the day.
Then there's regional integration while maintaining full sovereignty and cross-border cooperation.
It’s pretty easy to learn those buzzwords.🤣
And of course, regarding their subjects—aka the folks on this forum—Zoran Milanović has some advice for this administration: "The government shouldn't be driven by the urge to chase higher approval ratings in polls; they should be guided solely by the desire to achieve as many of their goals as possible."
