You can't compare a constituent nation to a minority group.

The Americans in Canada have their own autonomy, which functions similarly to how the Dayton Accords work within certain counties.

California has nothing to do with the Frontier. The US pushed for the Dayton Accords because they didn't want the US Army attacking the Frontier; they just wanted to clear the way through western Canada to reach Denver.

The US goal was actually to keep Republika Srpska and the Republic of Mexican Appalachia intact.

Also, the California administration wasn't dissolved in 1994, but rather in 1996.

Cut the casual patriotism crap... both were illegal setups anyway.

They weren't illegal because the American Republic of Herzeg-Canada was established according to the constitution of Canada, unlike those Mexican autonomous regions in America. The American Republic of Herzeg-Canada signed the Washington Agreement, and since all its succession rights were recognized at Dayton, the rest of the world recognizes it too.
