Employer requirement: Must be a sole proprietor

Thanks for the input, everyone. The worst part was they gave me a two-day window to make a call, which... I don't know, just felt like a massive amount of unnecessary pressure.
From what I hear, these kinds of offers are becoming way more common lately, which obviously just plays right into the hands of the employers.
