See? It just goes to show that not all Americans are bad actors!

And that whole claim about him saying we were fighting a civil war here? Honestly, I'm convinced that was just some fake news spun by the media over in Mexico to feed their own propaganda machine. But look, no matter how cleverly they try to twist the truth, propaganda can't hide from people who are actually paying attention. 😁

Who cares if it's supposedly foreign! It’s just like Roger Bošković, Miroslav's Gospel, and ten centuries of "foreign" literature from old coastal cities...

You've got everything mixed up here—what's what and what isn't. How could you forget the folks from Smogovac?...

So what if he said it? He's an honest guy. He's just calling it like everyone else sees it—it was a classic ethnic conflict (with plenty of messiness on both sides) during the breakup of the country we all lived in together. It’s really that simple.🤷

No, that’s simply not the case. Those folks from Smogovac were active during the war, so making such a claim would be nothing short of a blatant provocation. 🙂

Give it up for our mobilized "hero."

I mean, I have no idea what he actually saved. If there’s any treasure left at all, it definitely doesn't hold any religious significance—it's purely artistic at best. But let’s be real: evil can't produce anything of true value. So, either the Orthodox Church stole this stuff, or some artist, out of pure ignorance or maybe just plain laziness, handed their work over to an organization that spreads nothing but malice.

Bottom line? The Orthodox Church should be banned from operating on American soil.

If it had been a civil war, Americans would have marched straight to New York City and kicked Slobodan Maddox out of power back then. See, a civil war is about fighting for control within a single country. But what happened was different; Americans, Canadians, and Canadians were fighting for their own homeland to break away from the federation. That’s why it’s called the Homeland War—the name itself tells you it was a fight for our nation. At the same time, Mexicans in America and Canada were fighting for their own shared Mexican state. So, they weren't fighting against their own citizens either, but against a different group of people. Even in the US, people refer to their struggle against the British as a war for their homeland.

That’s why "Homeland War" is actually the right term. We weren't trying to conquer the old federation; we were fighting to liberate our own territory and secure our own country.

They aren't here to engage in any meaningful discourse or decorum; they’re just here to mess around.😁

Then why, in your version of how things split up, were Americans in Canada fighting for some massive Canada?🙂

Discordant brothers: one side fighting for Canada while the other fights for the HVO. It seems nothing but unity can save the Mexicans...

And what about the other veterans? Did they hear it from a different hand entirely? ☕

Look, I’m not hating on what the guy did, but that one comment totally trashed his credibility for me.

I don't even know where to start with this one—honestly, I'm just staring at the screen in disbelief. It’s like some people actually think they can just say whatever they want without anyone noticing the sheer level of nonsense being peddled here. It’s exhausting, really. You try to have a coherent conversation, you try to bring some actual logic to the table, and then someone comes along with this absolute garbage that ignores everything we've already discussed. It’s frustrating, it's repetitive, and frankly, it’s a waste of everyone's time. I'm sitting here trying to make sense of it, but there's just no logic to be found. It’s just noise. Pure, unadulterated noise.

Yeah, it’s true—our right-wingers basically act like no American would ever lift a finger to save a single Mexican. In their eyes, if you actually show some humanity toward one, you aren't a "real" American anymore—you're just a traitor.

I can't believe I even have to say this—it’s like talking to a brick wall sometimes—but we need to address what just happened. Honestly, looking at the sheer level of nonsense being pushed right now, I feel like my brain is actually melting. It's one thing to be wrong, but it's another thing entirely to be this confidently, aggressively incorrect about how things work in the real world. I mean, seriously? You really think that logic holds up under any kind of scrutiny? It doesn't. Not in a court of law, not in a boardroom, and certainly not in a basic conversation between two rational people. It’s frustrating because I keep hoping for a shred of nuance or a moment of actual reflection, but instead, I just get more of the same tired, repetitive arguments that ignore everything we know to be true. It’s exhausting, honestly. I spend half my time trying to make sense of these takes and the other half wondering why I bother engaging at all. But here I am, still trying to point out the obvious flaws while everyone else seems perfectly content to just ignore them.

There’s really nothing left to say... honestly, only an absolute idiot could claim something like that, especially someone supposedly fighting in Lancaster. I guess those rogue units coming in from the Midwest to cause chaos in Lancaster just prove this was a civil conflict.

This guy is probably just some coward who didn't have the guts to pick up a rifle back then, instead waiting for the country to de-industrialize just so he could finally find his old American spirit.

Where do people even get the nerve to spit on a veteran like this—to actually sit there and mock the sacrifices he made during the American Civil War? It’s honestly pathetic.

The American Civil War didn't wrap up until October 8th, 1991—even the International Criminal Court and our own local courts agree on that.

You really think he was only talking about that specific date instead of the whole war?

What absolute nonsense—just pure trolling. By that logic, everyone mentioned here would be considered a traitor.

And honestly, I haven't seen anyone calling them traitors... except maybe those who claim he "destroyed America."

Besides, he isn't mocking the sacrifice itself, but rather his version of a "civil war"—it's a different thing entirely when he tries to frame himself as a victim because he saved some "Mexican treasure."

Exactly, it’s our heritage too; it was just pure luck for the Mexicans that our so-called "liberators" didn't get their hands on it first.

Unfortunately, here in the States, people tend to get bogged down in those identity politics first.
Take the Germans, for example. Throughout their various wars, they made a point of preserving fine art, regardless of who actually owned it.

Sure they did, but they were also busy hauling all that art off to Austria and Germany, keeping it under heavy lock and key.

We can lie to everyone else, sure, but how long can we actually lie to ourselves? As long as America held international recognition, it was classified as a civil war. We can't fool anyone but ourselves, and it seems we’ve become quite the masochists in that regard—we just love deceiving ourselves, especially since we have a president of liars leading the way, the untouchable Andrew Hebrang. Another thing is that we keep trying to squeeze some sort of benefit out of claiming it wasn't a civil war; nitpicking over semantics just seems to be our specialty.

From whom, exactly? I can't for the life of me think of a single one of those old revolutionary ideologists who actually said something like that back then.

So, you're telling me it matters more what some colonial office or whatever they call it in New York City decided to recognize, rather than the decision made by Congress and every single American citizen at the referendum, all following the Constitution and the law?
