Hey everyone, I'm assuming this is the right sub-forum for this topic—if not, my bad.

So, here’s the deal. For a few years now, I’ve been diving deep into spirituality. It started because I began experiencing some weird stuff myself—stuff I’d actually felt since I was a kid but just chalked up to being "normal"—and I couldn't explain it. Through all this digging, I started finding connections to chakras, specifically the "Amy" chakra, and general spirituality, which wasn't really on my radar before.

But honestly? The more books I read on this stuff and the deeper I go down the rabbit hole, the less I feel like I actually know. At first, I was really into studying meditation, chakras, their effects, and all that good stuff. But then, I stumbled upon this one website about "power meditations." They described all these different techniques—which are slightly off from the mainstream stuff you usually hear about—and apparently, the knowledge comes from a Satanic source. Basically, the site itself is part of some Satanic movement that argues Christianity has totally misinterpreted Satanism and such.

Look, I grew up Christian. I’m not active in the church anymore, though—I can't stand how the "church" operates these days, what with the greed and the constant hunt for money and all that. Anyway, this whole thing is starting to mess with my head. Because when I read about chakras, spiritual growth, and the techniques used to achieve it... those exact same methods show up in this Satanic "cult," or whatever you want to call it, where they claim everything stems from Satan himself.

On top of that, during this research spree, I ran into the "Masons." I still can't wrap my head around what they actually *are*. One story says they’re these secret societies pulling the strings of the world, chasing power, acting like supreme rulers and whatnot. But then another story claims they’re just guardians of ancient spiritual wisdom, focusing on self-development—strengthening chakras, auras, etc.—while also climbing the ladder to hold high-ranking positions in government (which makes zero sense to me). Plus, they're supposedly "bringers of light" and spiritual seekers, but reading accounts from people who went through their initiations? That doesn't look like "light" or any kind of "goodness" to me. During these initiations, they go through these insane, bizarre rituals where they have to do things that make absolutely no sense if you have a shred of common sense—like cooking and eating "fresh" human body parts just to prove themselves. There is absolutely no way that has anything to do with spiritual growth or being a good person.

Just please, don't come at me with the "you don't know anything" attitude. I’ll be the first to admit I'm lost. Like I said, the more I investigate, the more it feels like total nonsense, which is why I decided to start this thread. I’m hoping if anyone actually knows more about these topics or the connections between them, you can clear some things up for me. Specifically, if "Masons" even exist—and if by some chance anyone on this forum is actually part of that group—could you explain what they really are? Even if it's just a private message, keep it anonymous, but please, because one side says one thing and the other side says the complete opposite. And for anyone else into spiritual development, please weigh in. Tell me about the meditative techniques you use, and whether you know EXACTLY where they actually come from.

Seriously, the more I dig, the more I feel like I'm standing in the dark. I would really appreciate some clarity. Thanks in advance.🙂

Thanks, man. That was actually pretty interesting—you're right, it definitely helped clear my head a bit, haha. But honestly, I still want to hear what everyone else thinks. I don't take anything I read as the absolute "truth." Even with all those books and info I dig through, I try to approach everything by stripping away the ego—you know, trying to get past all those baked-in beliefs, attitudes, and that whole mental armor the ego drags around everywhere.

The more I look into this stuff, the more I'm convinced that all the data from books and whatever doesn't mean much. As crazy as it sounds—and yeah, call me stupid if you want—but I feel like the actual "truth" can only be found within yourself. What I mean is, we could only find the "real" truth if we managed to totally shed that ego armor and actually look into the core of our own being. Whether people agree with me or not doesn't matter; this has been my gut feeling about the only real way to search for the "truth" for a long time now. It’s not something I read in a manual or anything—it's just pure intuition speaking.

So, after years of chasing ghosts, I finally realized the whole spiritual thing is just one big scam. None of it is the truth. There’s only the material world, and everything happened by pure chance. No souls, no God, no extra dimensions. Everything I thought I experienced was probably just my brain misfiring—hallucinations and projections. And those people claiming they're possessed? They're just dealing with mental health issues. Religion is nonsense; it's all a massive lie. You might as well just live life to the fullest. Don't get shackled by morality or social norms. Just grab every moment you can because once you die, you're done. There's nothing waiting on the other side; it's all right here, right now. I used to doubt this, but now I'm pretty sure. Why bother with the confusion? Just trust your five senses and call it a day. And where exactly did you think you were hiding, Mason? Those groups exist, sure, but their little conspiracy isn't even bigger than the secular world. Honestly, they're just slaves to their own system within the system, while regular people actually have more freedom. "True knowledge" is a myth. It's just hidden information. Actually, I'm kidding. It's the exact opposite of everything I just said. This whole post is total garbage. 🤷

Look, man, listen to me. I’ve been deep-diving into this kind of stuff—scouring the web, digging through every rabbit hole imaginable—since I was ten years old. But honestly? You need to take a breather. Put the Mason stuff, the secret societies, and all those wild conspiracy theories on the back burner for a second. There is just way too much noise out there—too much sheer volume of information mixed with blatant disinformation—to actually pin down the real truth based on any of it. It's a mess. And even if you did manage to crack the code? What then? Seriously, what would it actually change about your day-to-day life?

Look, you have to realize that lies and manipulation are everywhere—it’s just part of the deal in this world. Once you accept that, you can stop being so damn naive about everything. Honestly? It’s a waste of energy to be gullible. Instead, you should be putting all that effort into actually building something real—you know, soaking up knowledge, gaining actual experience, widening your perspective, and working on your own personal strength. And hey, if you can lend a hand to others along the way, even better. That’s how you actually make an impact—not just on your own life, but on everyone else's too.

The truth is, the more I dive into this stuff—the deeper I go down the rabbit hole and actually research this field—the more I feel like I’m starting from zero. It’s kind of a trip. I originally got sucked into studying meditation, chakras, energy work, all that good stuff, and honestly? I was loving it. But looking back, I remember stumbling upon this one specific site dedicated to "power meditations." It wasn't exactly mainstream, either; it offered all these niche techniques that felt a bit... off compared to the standard practices you see everywhere else. Turns out, the whole site was basically run by a Satanic movement. They were out there arguing that Satanism has been totally misrepresented by the Christian church and all that. Just one of those weird corners of the internet that makes you question everything you thought you knew.

Look, I was raised Christian—that’s just how it was done in my house—but honestly? I don’t really practice anymore. It’s hard to stay invested when you look at how the "Church" actually operates these days... it just feels like a massive cash grab most of the time, all that greed and money-grubbing, you know? It makes you step back and question things. Lately, I've been spiraling down this rabbit hole of confusion. I’ll be reading up on chakras, spiritual growth, or those specific meditation techniques people use to reach a higher state of consciousness—and then I stumble upon some weird, dark "sect" or whatever you want to call those Satanic groups—and it hits me: the techniques are practically identical. They’re teaching the exact same stuff, just under a different label, claiming everything stems from Satan instead of God. It’s bizarre. How can the methods be so similar when the foundations are supposed to be polar opposites? It really makes you wonder what's actually going on.

There are all sorts of different types of Satanists out there—honestly, more than you’d think—but most of them aren't even evil. Not even close.
Look, you can't really pin down strict definitions when it comes to Satanism, because that would defeat the whole damn purpose—it’s built on one core principle: Freedom. It’s all about breaking away from those suffocating dogmas and the heavy chains of rigid belief systems. At its heart, it's basically just creating a "religion of the individual."

Most people who call themselves Satanists don't actually believe that everyone should follow their lead—they aren't out there trying to convert the whole world, and they certainly don't think "non-believers" are going to find some kind of salvation. It’s not like that. For most of them, the whole concept of heaven and hell? It just doesn't exist. It's all just empty talk. When you look at Satanism as an actual religion, people tend to get the wrong idea—they think it's all about some horned guy in a red suit, but that's rarely how it works. In most cases, Satan is treated more like an abstract principle of nature rather than this specific, singular entity or a "superior being" sitting on a throne somewhere. It’s less about worshiping a person and more about embracing a fundamental force.

Look, if you dig into the core philosophy behind Satanism, there’s this fundamental idea that people basically just cooked up the concept of God themselves. From their perspective, a true follower shouldn't just swallow some pre-packaged, man-made version of the divine—you have to find a shape for it that actually works for you personally. They don't see God as some guy sitting on a throne in the clouds; they view it more like a raw force of nature that you experience through your own lens. It’s all about that individual connection. The whole vibe is centered around embracing those primal, animalistic urges—basically, leaning into earthly pleasures, chasing power, and getting really good at the art of acquiring it. It’s a pursuit of strength, total independence, being sharp, and using your intellect to navigate the world. When it comes to how you deal with everyone else, it’s pure power politics. You give back exactly what you get—friendship for friendship, hostility for hostility—but you have to be careful, because holding onto a grudge or being purely vengeful carries a massive cost. And here’s the kicker: life itself is considered sacred. There are these strict rules in place—killing, suicide, even ritual sacrifices are strictly off the table. Even when dealing with your absolute worst enemies, you aren't supposed to take them out. Instead, the goal is to disable them, or maybe just make their lives a little miserable. It’s a weirdly disciplined way of looking at chaos.

Look, people are out there using all kinds of mystical practices and rituals—you know, the whole spiritual toolkit—to try and tap into some kind of power. They’re doing it to level up their own lives, to look out for their inner circle, or even to go on the offensive and basically shut down their enemies. It's all about trying to manifest an edge, whether that's helping a buddy out or making sure someone who crossed you stays sidelined.

The way Satanists look at their biggest rivals—Christians and followers of any other major faith—is honestly just pure condescension. They don't see them as equals, not even close. To them, these people are just laughable, lesser beings who are basically being driven around by nothing but fear, hatred, and sheer stupidity. It’s pathetic, really—they don't even view them with anger so much as they just look down on them with this deep, misplaced sense of pity.

Look, just a quick heads-up: please don't come at me with that "you have no clue what you're talking about" attitude. I’m being totally upfront here—I don't know everything. Honestly, the more I dig into this stuff, the more it feels like a giant, tangled web where nothing makes sense, which is exactly why I decided to start this thread. I’m looking for people who actually *do* know their stuff—people who can help me connect the dots and make some sense of all these overlapping theories. Specifically, I’d love to hear from anyone who knows the deal with the Masons. If there happen to be any actual Masons lurking on this forum—and look, if you're comfortable, feel free to hit me up in a private message or stay anonymous—could you just explain what they actually *are*? It’s driving me crazy because one source says one thing, then I turn around and find a completely different story somewhere else. It's all over the place. Also, I want to tap into the crowd here that focuses on spiritual growth. If you've got experience in that area, please jump in. I’m curious about things like meditative techniques—for instance, do you actually know the exact origins of the methods you use, or is it all just guesswork? I'm trying to get to the bottom of this, so any insight helps.

Seriously though, the more I dig into this stuff, the less I feel like I actually know. It’s kind of overwhelming. If anyone could help clear some things up, I’d really appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

Don't sweat it. It’ll all start clicking eventually. Right now, you're just collecting these tiny little puzzle pieces—it takes time before you can actually step back and see the big picture they're forming. You can find info on different meditation techniques, breathing exercises, reading auras, sensing energy, astral projection, lucid dreaming, and all that good stuff over at The Zen Den Forum. There are also a few folks there who have been doing this for years and have actual hands-on experience, so it isn't just people rambling about theories.

Nowadays, most Masons are just political figures chasing an ego boost. They think joining this group will grant them some kind of "divine" status or hollow prestige. The reality is that very few modern Masons actually possess true spiritual depth; it’s mostly just a parade of vanity. In fact, you see some of the most corrupt politicians in the US hanging out in those circles.

Originally, the whole idea behind Freemasonry was about progress, humanity, and spiritual growth—helping mankind by putting humanitarian ideas into practice through people of high integrity, like prominent scientists and capitalists. That was supposed to be the foundation. For instance, one of the highest-ranking Masons in America during the last century was actually Michael Pupin.
I believe the only real requirement for membership is belonging to one of the monotheistic religions. It isn't some grand mystification; it's just that their ranks have historically included people with a certain "mystical" insight—spiritualists, scientists, even "alchemists"—basically folks who aren't strangers to spirituality and hold a different worldview than what you get from standard schooling. People who don't know anything about it tend to view it as some dark, negative secret society, but while it might be "in" right now, it’s always been a hub for various industrialists and capitalists. Today, it basically serves as the backbone of that social structure.

The Masons actually kicked that specific branch out long before his recent political career really took off. Apparently, they were getting too messy with selfish interests, which goes against their whole thing.

That doesn't mean the group vanished; it just means they aren't recognized as "legitimate" anymore. Nobody can stop them from hanging out however they want. There are plenty of quasi-Masonic organizations out there that aren't technically part of the main circle but just mimic their internal structure.

Honestly, people overthink this stuff way too much. People join all sorts of clubs. It's nothing unique to the Masons, and frankly, they probably have less influence today than some tiny political party or a mid-sized non-profit.

Did you honestly think it would be easy to piece all this together? To connect the dots, weigh who’s lying versus who’s telling the truth, unmask the motives, track down the money, and weave in religion, heritage, and history just to figure out who’s right, who’s wrong, and who’s pulling whose strings? You have to ask why everything is set up the way it is, whether someone is being manipulated or if they're the ones doing the manipulating...

It doesn't work that way; there’s only the "hard way" to untangle the web, to truly grasp and conclude anything with actual certainty...

Then there’s the "easy way," which is basically just giving up on searching altogether and becoming one of them—just another face in the crowd, a mediocre drone programmed by the system, living life strictly by the script: either you're part of the matrix, or you're just blissfully unaware.

There’s no such thing as instant enlightenment; it’s a slow burn that takes time, but it’s absolutely doable for anyone who actually cares enough and has the mental bandwidth to handle it. And when you finally get there, the results are nothing short of incredible.

I specifically said, "Please don't come at me with that 'you have no clue' crap," and so on. That "and so on" part—yeah, it refers to posts exactly like yours. How on earth are you concluding that I think this is all "just because"? Like I said—I’ve been digging into this stuff for years. I started this thread because, and I'm quoting myself here, "if anyone knows more about these topics, the connections between everything, etc., then please clarify some things for me." Bottom line: I’m just trying to spark a discussion about how contradictory all of this is. I'm not looking for some "instant enlightenment" or whatever you want to call it.

Anyway, thanks to everyone who jumped in on this. I’m absolutely swamped with work right now—just buried under a mountain of stuff—but I’ll be back to keep this discussion going in a day or two. 🙂

If all of that were true, and if everyone thought that way, I think it would be so soul-crushing that half of humanity would simply vanish. If we don't believe in at least "Something," then what is the purpose of life? What becomes of your personal conscience? As for possession, those aren't just "crazy" people; there is evidence for it all over the world, even documented by the Church itself. There are things people do that they could never have known or done—like speaking languages they've never even heard before. I find it hard to believe that's just a brain projection. Possession is real, and people try to hide it. That's why the clergy is currently short about 500 priests needed to handle exorcisms, an issue noted by the Pope himself.

Trust me, I know quite a bit about this topic.

I once ran into this guy who kept insisting to everyone he met that he was a Mason, but nobody bought it because the man couldn't tell the truth if his life depended on it. Then there was another one where everyone was convinced he was a Mason, but the guy honestly didn't have a clue what he was talking about.

I feel like I've already touched on this quite a bit in this thread:

If they were trying to take you out every single day and failed, one might start to question if they’re actually as powerful as they claim to be. 🤣

I’d suggest you refrain from replying, as this entire thread is destined to spiral into pure absurdity. One of their primary tactics for maintaining secrecy is the calculated dissemination of half-truths to sow confusion—a strategy that has been amplified exponentially by the digital age.
Everyone fancies themselves an expert on them, yet the reality is that even they seem to lack a clear sense of purpose, blindly executing tasks simply to ascend toward that 33rd degree milestone, depending on which lodge you're looking at.

The original poster possesses a fascinating hobby that offers significant intellectual rewards, though it carries the inherent risk of descent into becoming a Paranoid. It is a delicate balancing act, much like walking a tightrope. The danger lies in developing a certain arrogance toward those who remain oblivious, which can ultimately lead to total alienation from everyday society.

It would be refreshing if people with genuine, firsthand insight stepped forward—perhaps a former Mason or someone with similar background—so we could all benefit from actual knowledge. But I highly doubt that will ever happen. Until then, there is nothing left to do but be an independent thinker.
