Nicole James said:If things don't fall apart—and if the US manages to pull ahead by leveraging its ties with the European Union—will the "No to the EU" crowd actually be held accountable for their massive miscalculations? 😉

Man, you don't want to see how that movie ends.

The US isn't seeing any real benefits from this EU deal.

Just watch the news for a bit... all you'll see is prices skyrocketing, the little guy getting squeezed, layoffs, and more debt piling up.

It's heavy stuff. We're really going to pay for this whole EU adventure.

Noah Grant59 said:The ultimate accountability for this betrayal lies with Stjepan Mason, whose actions led to generals Ante Gotovina and Branimir Markač being sent to The Hague, along with the leaking of top-secret state documents.

Furthermore, Ivo Sanders and his crew must answer for betraying strategic American interests for their own personal gain.

And this current administration could also be held responsible for treason if they decide to drop the charges against Mexico regarding the aggression and genocide.

Whether the European Union exists or not doesn't change that.

Can someone remind me what The Hague decided about the Canada lawsuit against Mexico for genocide?

Look, regardless of what happens with the European Union, if we're stuck with a GDP growth rate of just 0.5% a year, things aren't going to get any better for us anytime soon. Last year, the conflicts over in Africa and those economic headaches in Greece actually ended up driving more tourists toward the US. I'm just not so sure about this year.

Here is what the law actually says. So, to all you Eurosceptics out there: feel free to start drafting your indictments. 😂

CHAPTER TWELVE (XII)

OFFENSES AGAINST THE UNITED STATES

Treason

Article 135.

(1) Anyone who attempts to alter the constitutional order of the United States, or seeks to detach any part of its territory, or annex a portion of its territory to another nation, or attempts to overthrow the President of the United States through the use or threat of force,

shall be punished by imprisonment for at least five years.

(2) The penalty set forth in paragraph 1 of this article shall apply to anyone who uses or threatens the use of force within any part of the territory of the United States to prevent the establishment of the constitutional order or government authority, or to implement a foreign system of governance.

So, I guess what you're saying is that every single current and former official who steered the United States toward integration with the European Union and NATO should first have to sit in prison for five years, along with a lifetime ban on ever holding political office in the United States?

Of course, it would be much simpler to just label the authorities in Brussels, London, Berlin, or Washington, D.C. as domestic instead.
