"Back when you went to an investment conference in 1989, everyone was piling into Japanese stocks. Fast forward to 2000, and suddenly it's everyone betting the farm on tech. That’s the textbook definition of a bubble—when basically every single person in the market is holding the exact same asset. Personally, I reckon there are more folks holding Apple stock these days than there are people holding actual gold.”

Here’s some interesting news if it hasn't crossed your radar yet. The more bad news we see like this, the more people will flee toward crypto:

Gold would have been a solid play at $1,000. At current levels, though—it’s just too expensive.

So, does that mean the silver bugs were right all along, seeing as silver is sitting barely at $30?😍

I'm with you there. Honestly, this feels like the perfect window to scoop up some Apple stock. 😍

I know I'll probably end up kicking myself later, but what's the logic behind calling it overpriced right now? Are you betting that the Euro might hit some major turbulence—thinking that if things go south there, the Dollar climbs and drags gold down with it?

Here’s another one shouting into the void and still breathing.🙂
If you're such an expert, why don't you enlighten us and explain why it's so pricey?

If you just stare at the gold charts, it looks like the metal has absolutely skyrocketed. But if you aren't looking at the actual money supply—which is ballooning right alongside those prices—it’s easy to fall for the illusion that gold is gaining value. In reality, its purchasing power is basically just holding steady while the amount of cash floating around keeps climbing.
Right now, we’re almost certainly looking at a combo of Quantitative Easing and more Quantitative Easing. Barack Obama essentially won this round; he's going to kill off austerity, and since someone has to foot the bill for that, the easiest way is through inflation—basically via more Quantitative Easing.
The cash being pumped into the banks through these programs isn't actually going to go toward boring government bonds; it's going to chase higher returns in things like Apple stock or Vietnam. This just inflates the bubble even further, leading us down a loop of more rounds of easing until we eventually hit a total system reset—because right now, the whole setup just exists to protect the big bankers without any limits whatsoever.
Expect gold and silver prices to keep climbing.

I'm with you on most of that, though I've gotta disagree on your take regarding the systemic collapse or the "bankster" endgame. Honestly, I don't think either of us is going to live long enough to see that movie play out. As for gold and silver, yeah, they'll definitely climb—sometimes fast, sometimes slow.

Silver is a better play than gold in any scenario—though even that feels overpriced right now.

Apple is overpriced too.

Because even the most clueless amateur knows gold is where the money is made these days. For prices to keep climbing, you need fresh buyers—and those people are running thin...

Gold will likely be higher ten years from now, sure, but the actual returns will probably be underwhelming. Forget about seeing gains of several dozen or even hundreds of percent at these levels.

I’m not so sure about that, honestly. How many people do you actually know who think gold is the move, or who have actually put their cash into it? I mean, personally, I don't know a single soul (not even my own family or friends) who's doing it.

And what exactly are we talking about when you say "low returns"? Give me a real number here.

Gold is trying to carve out a really significant floor here. Ideally, we’d see it hold below the $1,613 level from April 4th, but with the Dollar acting like a beast and the Federal Reserve breathing down our necks, that’s a tall order. This bottom could flash anytime between now and Monday—likely Thursday or Friday. If it breaks below that support, the whole bull market run is probably toast.

You sure about that? The Dollar is only going to get stronger. There's massive uncertainty over in Europe right now, putting all this pressure on the Euro. And don't even get me started on Greece—that's a whole different disaster waiting to happen. New elections there seem almost inevitable... I mean, their 10-year yields just spiked to 23%.😍

Yeah. I've been dipping my toes into this whole physical commodities sector lately, so I'm still trying to stay objective while I figure it all out. 😁

The US Mint moved more Gold Eagles in just seven days this May than they did during the entire month of April!
China pulled in 135 tons of gold from Hong Kong in just the first three months of this year...

Just sitting here waiting for this sell-off to bottom out (especially in miners—weak hands are everywhere) until the sellers finally run out of steam. It’s honestly pathetic how people are dumping their mining stocks right now; watching them offload everything at these basement prices is just brutal.

A brilliant argument for why gold is priced where it is.
If you ask me, gold—and especially silver—is ridiculously cheap. Why? Just look back at my previous posts.
What kind of returns are we talking about? You buy gold to protect what you have, not necessarily to strike it rich, even if that happens once in a while.

And it’s happening. We might hit bottom today, or maybe in a few days.

Holding steady at 1613 for now. If this slide keeps up, watching for 75 WMA around 1590, then potentially all the way down to 1523. We should have a clearer picture by Tuesday at the latest. This floor matters just as much as the one we saw back in December.

I'm out. Not holding anymore. 😍
