It’s pretty wild to think that miners actually managed to hit today's prices way back in 2007—nearly four and a half years ago if you don't account for inflation.

The last duty of a central banker is to tell the public the truth.

-- Alan Blinder, vice chairman of the Federal Reserve, on PBS's "Nightly Business Report," 1994 😍

So... where's that German gold hiding?

Here’s a little something for those traders out there—especially the ones who still cling to the idea that the market isn't being manipulated. Pay close attention to the segment starting around 08:40 and moving forward.

Gold hit 1658; honestly, I’m expecting it to start sliding any minute now.

We'll see if Ben decides to hold the Dollar down or if he brings up QE3 again tomorrow. Gold needs to break above $1,685 to actually flip the trend, but honestly? I'm still not buying it.

For the last couple of weeks, there’s been this massive push on the NYSE to pump gold prices... meanwhile, everywhere else, things are just flatlining or dropping.
People are throwing around talk about QE3 just to try and flip the current trend...

Anything under 1685—or at least 1681—and above 1640 is just noise to me. Right now, I’m still playing the short game, feeling bullish on the Dollar for the next two weeks. We'll see which way the wind blows next week, but honestly, I think we're getting close to the bottom on gold. It’s hard to say if we’ll just hit a quick dip toward the 300-day moving average or if we’re actually going deeper. As for mining stocks, they might have already hit rock bottom; if they haven't, they're damn close.

Reporting from the front lines here—I work in a pharmacy, and I’m seeing price hikes of 20-30% from most major international brands. These aren't just minor adjustments; we're talking about essential goods people pay for with hard cash. Something that used to cost $6.00 is now sitting at 26. This isn't a gradual creep either; it's a jump. For instance, an item that was 52 is now 61 Dollars. The shift over the last six months to a year has been glaringly obvious. When you factor in electricity and gas, I don't care who tries to claim inflation is stuck at 2%.
Even if things like mobile phone plans are getting cheaper...
Most of these price surges are the direct result of money printing and the subsequent devaluation of our currency. What happens when the effects of the Federal Reserve's actions from 2011 finally hit home?

The amount pumped into the system practically guarantees double-digit inflation. Meanwhile, China is offloading 400 tons of gold just to patch up their budget holes...

And just like that, they’ve started messing around with the coinage too...

The Federal Reserve, the Fed, government bureaus... what, are they all just playing pretend now? 😂😍

It was only a matter of time before some Wall Street investment guru decided to start barking about gold.
Well, here we go. Today's the day. 😁

I never liked this guy—he's just a straight-up manipulator who builds these pyramid schemes on markets where you can swing stock prices with just a few million Dollars. Seriously. Plus, he thinks a tiny blog post about three shares makes him a titan. Just imagine if Čaćić suddenly claimed there wouldn't be any more privatization of ExxonMobil for the foreseeable future. You'd see ExxonMobil's price hit $50
And then he has the nerve to try and play Warren Buffett 😍

It’s hard to imagine anyone selling metallurgy that cheap when they have so many printed cartridges sitting around...🤣

So, are we looking at the bottom on Echipicepec? Was April 4th the floor, or are we headed back toward—or even past—the 300 mark? Just keep in mind that the 300 level that stopped the slide on April 4th was at 1613, and now we're sitting at 1622. Mining stocks are basically throwing whatever they can at the wall right now. Personally, I’m still betting on a sustained Dollar rally, which means gold and miners are likely going to drop another leg down. Honestly, what’s happening with the miners is more important to me. If hitting 440 wasn't the bottom, we shouldn't be looking at a massive further crash. Even if I'm wrong, it's not like I'll miss out on much. Right now, the pressure is really on the "buy and hold" crowd. Some of these folks are sitting on 30% losses, and let's be real—that’s a tough pill to swallow when you were expecting huge gains. Despite that, I'm still eyeing a continued bull market for miners and seeing HUI climb back toward 600 by summer. We'll see how it plays out.
