Can a real estate partition agreement be contested?

So, four pages of that Contract Corp were officially signed and agreed upon. But now, one side is trying to pull the plug on everything. Why? Because while we were finalizing things, the property I was supposed to receive—based on our deal that day—is currently being cleared up by a lawyer. Can this whole thing be challenged?
