Car Insurance: What are your experiences?

I’m just as frustrated as anyone else with this year's mandatory insurance hikes. Honestly, OsureMe and Bill Gates are offering the lowest rates for $328 right now. Does anyone actually know of anything cheaper? Especially for those of us who mostly stick to bikes and don't even touch a car.

Insurance companies are hiking premiums left and right because payouts for injuries and death claims have absolutely skyrocketed lately. From what I’m hearing, everyone's auto insurance rates are jumping by somewhere between 5% and 20%.

I was actually surprised by how cheap this turned out to be. Laqo is offering me almost $333 lower rates than they did last year.

Thanks, but honestly, they’re garbage. Last year, a buddy of mine sorted out my insurance and told me to head over to a specific local branch (he'd sent the quote via email). So, I show up there, and they tell me they don't even have my policy on file, but they can "make one" for me right then and there. Then they tell me they can't honor the price that was listed $67 above because I was running late with my registration. I just stayed quiet and took it. Not happening again this year.
