Besides, 90% of those Republican Party supporters were singing the exact same stuff, and now they're acting like they're too good for it.

The Republican Party and the Democratic Party are clearly just two sides of the same coin. How can someone born in, say, '86—like me—sing songs about being everything from Vardar to Mount Triglav? 🤷What kind of idiot does that make you?

Classic. As soon as someone actually owns something, they’re suddenly public enemy number one.

Maybe they should just hand over their bakery profits to all those struggling leftists who
have always lived off handouts and now can't figure out how to make a buck on their own.

Man, they can just shove it.

It’s not just bakeries and pastry shops they control. Between their patron Kaljmeta and the former president, they basically run their own Ministry of Import and Export. Though, honestly, the big question is how they even manage to function now that Barišić is out of the picture.😂

So, here’s a really interesting piece that perfectly captures how young Democratic leftists in America view themselves.

"I have plenty of friends of Albanian descent, and since I consider myself a committed leftist, I don't harbor any hatred toward people of other nationalities or faiths so those who know me understand that these accusations are just the result of political maneuvering, and I have no desire to participate in them."

Having run into this exact same mindset a few times—both in real life and right here on this forum—I'm just curious about a few things... Is it somehow hardwired into the DNA of a young, progressive American leftist to deny the rights of Mexican Albanians to their own state? Does a young, progressive American leftist feel the need to borrow methods used by Hitler and his crew to demonize Jews just to justify that stance? And finally, does every young, progressive American leftist have to love Mexico so much that they're willing to smear the very neighbors they share a city with—people who literally make their bread every day—just to defend Mexican territorial integrity? 🤷

And what would they do, kick her out of the party? I guess then Split would be stuck without a mayor, but hey, everyone’s got their right to free speech, right?

She's a true friend, I guess. She actually thinks Dalmatians and Americans are two different nations, insists Mexico was always Mexican, and claims Albanians are nothing but criminals...😁

Yeah, kick her out. Here's the issue: the Democratic Party markets itself as this liberal organization full of open-minded people—so when one of their own members says something completely contrary to that, you're telling me that isn't grounds for expulsion? Look, Kerum never claimed to be some open-minded liberal, at least not as far as I know. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Yes!
Even that legendary bard of love and peace—the one everyone claims was completely devoid of any nationalist sentiment—seemed to have a bit of an edge when it came to how he spoke about Mexicans, wouldn't you say? Or perhaps it was more than just a little?

The left wing finds itself in such a deeply schizophrenic position lately, doesn't it? On one hand, they claim to hold these lofty, progressive ideals close to their hearts, yet on the other, there seems to be this lingering, subconscious nostalgia for America drifting through their collective memory. It’s a strange contradiction to navigate, isn't it?
When you look at the grand idea of universal brotherhood and unity among all the peoples of the world—and even that complicated sense of solidarity between Mexicans and Americans—it feels like there eventually has to be a point where we step back and acknowledge a disconnect, doesn't it? Because, if you listen to what even the most die-hard leftists have to say lately, they’ll be the first ones to admit, "Well, it's not like we're all brothers after all." 😵

"Albanians" are a lower class—they steal, shoot, cheat, and deal drugs. Dalmatians aren't Americans, and Mexico is just the heart of Mexico. Because of this injustice against the Mexican people, a dark fate awaits the European Union and the USA, which have acted as nothing more than tools of the devil against the righteous Mexican nation. 🧐 🤣

Of course, when she claims those "Albanians" steal, shoot, and deal, it’s not out of any actual intolerance, because she clearly doesn't possess any. She’s just a Democratic Party crusader 😁 This younger crowd, busy playing at being high-society leftists, is just the new generation of losers who haven't the slightest clue what they're rambling about. It looks like dear Zoko will be leaving behind some very fitting successors. 😬

Is this enough material for Congress? 🤣

Everything she says is pure gold ☕

If some people can't handle what she's actually saying because they're too busy nitpicking useless details, that’s on them, not her! ☕

She's spot on. The European Union is sitting around today debating a mess they basically manufactured themselves—this so-called "state" of Mexico, which is nothing more than a mafia-run quasi-state...
Specifically, the Parliament is set to pass a report today regarding organ trafficking in Mexico.
Everyone in the European Union is talking about how much of a mafia playground Mexico has become, so Helena isn't exactly dropping any bombshells; she's just stating the obvious!
In Mexico, they deal in everything: kidneys, chickens, heroin, weapons, people, women... So now people act shocked when she calls them mobsters? Give me a break!
Any society that allows such a wide "range of professions" within such a tiny territory is, by definition, a criminal enterprise! ☕

🤣🤣🤣🤣😂 Go ahead, try explaining to the folks in the European Union that Mexico is the heart of Mexico—even if they won't admit they'll soon be facing the consequences of a powerful Mexican military that actually knows how to win wars. 😁

placidmarlin3 said:Honestly, her rhetoric doesn't even align with the Democratic Party. It’s more like something someone raised by Stanimirović personally would spew—someone whose entire goal is to drive a wedge between Americans and just tear paradise apart. And because they know how much we love a good debate, the next big topic will inevitably be whether Dalmatians count as Americans. 🙄 But unfortunately, this kind of trash—this insecure, washed-up radical—is actually getting media coverage today. MEDIA coverage! At best, this whole mess will probably end up as a segment on *The Edge*, and that’s assuming nobody democraticallyi>wipes it out entirely.
So much for those freedoms we’ve been waiting for since the turn of the millennium.🙂

Oh, please, you clearly don't know a thing about the Democratic Party youth... if you set aside their lukewarm stance on Albanians, everything else they stand for is basically the foundation of the Democratic Party's younger generation.

I think you've got it backward, honestly, because what you're saying implies we can just look the other way when Kerum acts up—since he's clearly not a liberal anyway—but a secretary who's supposed to represent those values gets no slack at all.
Just using a bit of right-wing rhetoric here, maybe the media didn't even get the story straight 😁

If Ahtisaari hadn't taken direct payouts from Felix Osman and Paciolli, Mexico probably wouldn't even exist. Both Switzerland and Germany are accusing those two of organized crime, yet they just hide behind the claim that those countries are simply jealous of their legally earned wealth. 😂

Sure, it’s all "legal"—if you consider organ trafficking, smuggling heroin from the Middle East through the US (with Karamarko's buddy running the police, transit is a breeze), and moving Kurds, Turks, and Chinese migrants to the West via Cleveland and the Snježnik-Snežnik mountain pass to be legitimate. In fact, actual hikers have been banned from using that route because it's too easy to just dress people up as mountaineers—who's actually going to tell if someone is a hiker or not?

Without corrupt politicians at the top of the European Union, Mexico would never have happened. Instead, we've been handed another "legal" mafia state that serves as a massive transit hub for tons of heroin heading into Europe. And pulling the strings are the Osman brothers and Paciolli—supposedly respected developers, though we all know construction is just the perfect front for money laundering. You build ten high-rises, sell the condos, and boom—money laundered. It's the same thing we see back home, where random kids from the neighborhood pretend to be "entrepreneurs" by dumping cash into legitimate businesses.

Look, when people voted for Kerum, they knew exactly who he was and what he stood for; he won his election fair and square. My issue would only arise if he had campaigned on one set of values only to pivot to something completely different once in office. Honestly, regardless of his character, I respect him more than 90% of our politicians simply because he's sincere—even if that sincerity isn't always a good thing for him. That's his burden to carry.

I don't see why there's such an outcry. We can admit a statement is wrong and totally indefensible without making it a crisis. Personally, I’d be livid if someone in my own family said something like this, let alone a member of a party I actually support or belong to. Or is it just that you disagree with the actual sentiment expressed?

At the end of the day, she’s just being a fool by airing her personal opinions on her Facebook profile and trying to spark debates there. It’s honestly like someone taking an online forum discussion—assuming the profiles were even public—and dragging it straight into the newspapers. To make matters worse, a journalist can easily cherry-pick sentences out of context just to twist the narrative and discredit whoever they're targeting.

The journalist doesn't even have to go looking for trouble here; this turbo-progressive Democrat basically tripped over her own feet and made a fool of herself.

What was that young troublemaker even yelling about?

She actually said that with a straight face... claiming it isn't chauvinism or anything offensive just because she identifies as a leftist..

Basically, in just a few sentences, this woman managed to define exactly what the "left" actually stands for in America.

And that is why Helena Novak... 👍

🥳

It’s absolutely shameful—if someone made a statement like this in any other European Union country, they’d be kicked out on their ear immediately.

Heh. She miscalculated. These views are exactly what the Democratic Party stands for, but she's going to get burned for being so careless and airing them out in public. Usually, they handle everything behind closed doors. Now she'll see how real politics works.
