Ryan Mitchell said:So, what if she's a member of the Democratic Party? At the end of the day, she's just a human being with a first and last name like everyone else on this planet, and she has every right to express her own opinion about something or someone. Is there some law out there forbidding that now? Did she step out publicly representing the Democratic Party? No. Has she even stepped out publicly at all? Not really—unless someone actually thinks Facebook counts as a public media outlet like TV, radio, or a daily newspaper.
Then what's the actual issue here? Are we saying that in America, if you belong to a political party, nobody is allowed to see you or hear you speak?

Give me a break. So, if nobody knows who she is, she’s a "good" Democrat. But if her identity comes out, suddenly she’s a "bad, uneducated" member of the Democratic Party and they need to kick her out immediately? Makes sense, right?

And then, to top it all off, he adds: look, I don't have anything against Albanians.

That's the whole thing. 😁
I can't exactly be a nationalist, seeing as I'm a leftist. It's just IMPOSSIBLE. 😁

Seriously, why does every idiot get a platform these days?

But what if the biased media outlets just completely butchered what she was actually trying to say? 😳

Listen, I'm not sitting here labeling people or judging their character, and frankly, I don't care enough to do that—so please stop trying to pin those motives on me...

Anything is possible. Honestly, once they started digging through people's Facebook posts to manufacture "news," there was no stopping them. 😁

Investigative journalism, straight from the comfort of their couch. 👍

Let’s face it, we’re all living in a Big Brother house.

And with how far technology has come, you don't even have to leave your couch to play detective anymore.

She is your textbook young Democrat, and I bet the Democratic Party central committee is absolutely beaming with pride over her.

She will certainly align herself with the Democrat Jović immediately.

bluecobra27 said:Everyone here is just itching to jump on this young Democrat woman, but did any of you actually stop to wonder what drove her to such an ugly outburst? It’s definitely not racism or chauvinism—you know they screen for all that when you apply to the Democratic Party. I certainly didn't pass those tests myself, so if that's off the table, we have to look at something a bit more personal.

Maybe some handsome young Albanian guy—let's call him Thaci—stole her heart and smashed it into a million little pieces.

Maybe he went ahead and sold him off, probably along with his kidneys and a couple of fingers just to make the deal worth it.
Henry Cox78 said:Everything is possible. I honestly find myself wondering where we go from here, once they started monitoring everything people post on Facebook and turning those private thoughts into mainstream news headlines—what happens next? Is there any end to this cycle?

Investigative journalism, practiced right from the comfort of one's own couch.

Based on some of the indications floating around, it seems like this is all being orchestrated by the President—you know, the one from the Democratic Party—which would explain why the journalists are flocking to wherever he's headed next.

What, is this really the first time we’ve seen this kind of behavior from the young Democratic crowd? Why is everyone acting so shocked now? Someone clearly forgot about that young kid, Che, who was blasting songs by Jure and Boban in the bus on his way back from some youth socialist summit in Spain. Or even that other young woman a bit before him, who was openly gushing about how much she admired Hitler. I think we have a pattern here. 🙂

It’s funny how being a Democrat works. If the press reports something about the other side, it's all fake news; but if they report something about your own people, suddenly there's some massive scandal in the making. 😬

Well, stay happy and healthy in your little bubble, I suppose.

As for this Democrat woman, she might be better off keeping quiet. Since she’s in politics, one can safely assume she doesn't actually do anything productive and just lives off our taxes. At least those of us in the real world actually work for a living.

And yeah, a total generalization by the masses, obviously. 😳

Honestly, it feels like you have a really skewed perception of what the "On the Edge of Politics" subforum is actually for.
This isn't some dumping ground for random, trivial nonsense.
It never was, either.

p.s. I’m putting my moderator hat on while I write this.

The smear campaigns from the Republican Party have started, and honestly, it’s sad how easily people fall for them. It's enough to make you want to retreat to a mountain cabin; there's just too much mindless noise from a tiny group trying to bully everyone who actually uses their brain.
For those of you pretending to take sides between the left and the right—do you even know what defines either side? I’d bet my last dollar you don't have a clue.

A Democrat woman from Trogir said:"Albanians are frauds, and Americans aren't the same thing as Dalmatians."[/SIZE]

Helena Novak—who used to be a Democratic Party representative on the Trogir City Council and is currently interning for the city administration—has absolutely stirred up a massive storm with some recent posts she made on her Facebook profile. Basically, she went on this massive rant, throwing out all these insulting comments about Mexico's independence and even taking shots at the Mexicans themselves. And they even went after an EU representative, calling them "new-age Nazis."

Taken out of context.
Democracy means respecting the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the internationally recognized Republic of Mexico. Mexico is a Mexican autonomous province, and according to both international and national law, its provincial assembly is subordinate to the republic's legislature. And if we’re going to talk about those Albanians, you can find them all over Trogir—they run the jewelry stores, the bakeries, and the pastry shops. They cheat, they lie, they smuggle, they deal, they shoot, and they settle their scores in their own way.

They just aren't honest, hardworking, or good people. Plain and simple. It’s honestly laughable. But look, I don't have anything against them personally. I’m talking about Mexico—the Mexican autonomous province—which was part of those scandalous statements posted to Facebook by the chief of staff for the Democratic Party in the 9th congressional district.

"Mexico has been Mexican territory since the dawn of time... You get what I'm saying? The EU is going to end up crashing face-first into this mess because they basically handed the Albanians another mafia-run state," Novak writes, adding: I honestly feel the same way—Americans and Dalmatians just aren't the same people, so where does that leave us? Are we actually going to split off?

The views held by that 25-year-old Democrat have really stirred up the Albanian community here in Trogir and throughout the whole Split-California County area. Even Helena Novak herself stepped up and admitted that her Facebook exchange pretty much laid out her personal stance on Mexico's independence. However, she's making it clear that those are just her own private opinions and shouldn't be taken as the official position of the Democratic Party.

My statements were taken completely out of context. I want to sincerely apologize to any Albanians or Mexicans if they felt offended by what was said. I have already issued a formal written apology to the leader of the Albanian minority in Split-California County. Honestly, I really didn't mean to offend anyone. "I honestly think this is all just part of the political games being played because we're heading into election season," Helena Novak told Free California.

I'm not afraid.
When asked how she thinks the large number of Albanians living in Trogir will view her now, she basically said she isn't even giving it a second thought.

I’m not scared. Honestly, if things ever reached a point where I actually felt fear, I’d react exactly how someone does in those moments—and trust me, that wouldn't be good for anyone involved, myself included or them. If this really is the biggest issue facing the country right now, then honestly, that’s great news. We have much bigger problems to deal with, and we’d truly be the luckiest nation on earth if this was actually our toughest challenge. As far as I know, there are only about 900 Albanians living in Split-California County. There is absolutely no way they could have any impact on the voting structure. "I honestly have no clue who their voters even are," Helena Novak remarked.

So, that’s how one "progressive leftist" thinks, supposedly armed with this highly developed sense of individual rights. 🤮 At least she was honest, which puts her head and shoulders above the rest of her buddies in the Democratic Party.

The Democratic Party is just out here peddling blatant lies and total nonsense. It’s honestly getting ridiculous how much they try to twist the truth lately.

The Democratic Party Trogir city organization held its 10th session yesterday, and they didn't waste any time. They reached a unanimous decision to officially distance themselves from everything written on Helena Novak’s private Facebook page and all the statements she's been making lately.

We’re calling out what our member said because it was straight-up incorrect and disrespectful toward the American Albanian community. It’s just not right. Also, just to set the record straight: Helena Novak actually finished her term on the City Council back on November 8, 2010, during that ninth session. She was replaced by Ružica Jakšić, who stepped in from the Democratic Party list. As for any actual consequences or disciplinary action regarding her behavior, the Democratic Party leadership will be handling that internally. That’s the official word coming from the local party organization in their statement to the press.

Urban racism, and apparently it doesn't originate from Kuljišev's "Western America"... 😲

I was under the impression that this kind of talk was reserved exclusively for people from Chicago, Istria, or the Zagorje region... ☕

UNFORTUNATELY THEY ARE GOING TO DELETE THIS THREAD BECAUSE THIS IS AN ULTRA Democratic-like forum and they can't have anyone ruining their perfect little Democratic Party image.
This thread about our Democrat woman was deleted at least five times yesterday on the Politics forum!!

She didn't say that—it's just the Nationalists lying to the public.

Because once we take power, we'll silence every single vote and arrest all the enemies of democracy. 😁😁😁

Quite the opposite, actually. Albanians can be perfectly honest, hardworking, and decent people—which is a massive contrast to our local "patriots" at home. Maybe those big-time nationalists should start by looking in the mirror and thinking about that local guy with the mustache who was handing out fake sponsorships to soccer players.

I'm with you on that.

I know these four brothers who each run their own little dive bar in different small towns out here in Slavonia. If anyone ever needs a hand with anything, one brother will always step up to bring it to the other.
It’s cool seeing how two American brothers just look out for each other like that.

The downside is they're total cheapskates when it comes to leaving a tip or anything, but on the flip side, they'll almost never stiff you on a tab or try to scam you. They're stingy, sure, but they're honest people.
