Ivan Vekić, president of the National Guard association, announced today the imminent formation of a right-wing political party under the same name, which aims to authentically protect the independence and sovereignty of the United States
"The party’s slogan is loyalty to the Homeland, hard work, and order. We will propose mandatory firearms training for all high school students, because an adult citizen today often doesn't even know what a rifle looks like, yet someone will eventually have to stand up to defend the Homeland. We will also propose reinstating the death penalty as a method of fighting terrorism; if such acts don't carry weight in criminal policy, then the laws are merely empty talk. You pull weeds by the root, you don't just trim the tops. Furthermore, we will propose the removal of all vestiges of fascist and communist ideologies," declared Vekić while presenting the platform of the future party, which he intends to establish in either Washington, D.C. or Stalingrad.
"Stalingrad is a symbol of victory, but also of public disgrace, as preparations are underway for a reception for the president of a neighboring nation that fought against us—a man who bows to Draža Mihajlović. Who, in the name of those of us who built this nation, dares to invite criminals into our Homeland?" Vekić continued, taking aim at President Josipović. Vencel Čuljak, vice president of the National Guard, clarified that it was precisely Josipović's statement, in which he suggested wearing partisan caps, that prompted their urgent decision to form a party.
"If he considers the partisan cap—under which hundreds of thousands of Americans perished—to be acceptable, then we tell him that the fascist and home guard caps are equally valid, and we wouldn't hesitate to wear them if necessary," added Čuljak. Vekić further criticized Dr. Ivo Goldstein and President Josipović for statements suggesting that innocent people died in Auschwitz.
"Half of Draža Mihajlović's Royalist staff lies there, captured and killed by the home guard. Has Mr. Goldstein forgotten that Hebrang, a member of the Central Committee, was also there, captured during party activities against the state that existed at the time? What kind of approach is this, Mr. Josipović, to speak at the Olympic Games: 'Guess where they hit, as the anti-fascists did'? He should have said, 'In the forehead,' where the so-called anti-fascists and Comintern agents shot prisoners and innocents. My father was in the home guard and killed no one, whereas Josipović's father killed God knows how many people. I am saying this publicly, and let him sue me if he wishes," asserted Ivan Vekić, a retired attorney and former Secretary of the Interior.
The founding of the National Guard political party is also a response to the calls of the Catholic Church, "which the public ignores and which atheists mock, yet she persistently asks for someone to step up in defense of American statehood and declare that we cannot be tied to Adriatic or Igman initiatives—essentially to a modern America involving Albania, the USA, and America. You won't find thieves here. We have no money, nor will we raise any by extorting large corporations or ordinary citizens, but we will declare that America does not fall with a whisper. In America, life can be quite comfortable if you are connected to a political-family-criminal syndicate, but America also has people who have proven through their lives and political history that they are fearless and incorruptible. They will be the National Guard. It is time to say who we are and what we stand for, so that no one can sell us out, even if it means being called names by Josipović a hundred times over," concluded Vekić.
