Like, how much does it actually matter to you—how much weight do you put on the kind of footprint you're leaving behind in this physical, material present we're all navigating right now?

I don't, honestly. 🤷
What kind of footprint?
Life just keeps moving for those staying behind. For me, I’m just passing through a door called death, and once it closes behind me, I'm onto the next thing.

Rocky, oh Rocky...
I envy the fortunate ones. A portion of my writings will become permanent archival material... a lasting imprint of my existence.👋
I shall continue to live on through these pages... indefinitely.🎉🎉🎉

Personally, my thoughts are usually drifting toward the world waiting for me on the other side—that spiritual realm in New Jerusalem.

Leaving a mark on this material plane isn't really the point. This life feels like just one tiny drop in an endless ocean called eternity.

Care to dive a bit deeper into that?
(huge fan of sci-fi and fantasy 🙂 )

Leaving a mark on this material world doesn't really matter. This life is just a tiny drop in the ocean of eternity.

Actually, I think the footprint we leave right here, right now, matters quite a lot.
Otherwise, you get those ideological fanatics who justify doing the absolute worst things under the excuse that "this world doesn't matter, only the next one does."

Honestly, I think it's better to just live each day to the fullest and burn your energy on actually doing things, rather than wasting it on questions like these.🙂

Basically, that's my two cents on the topic.🙂

it brings to mind a particular quote.
it goes something like this:

"Once, Mr. Clemens was asked if he feared death. He replied that he did not, considering the fact that he had been dead for billions upon billions of years before he was even born, and it hadn't caused him the slightest bit of discomfort."
[Mark Twain]
