Oh, give me a break... 😂
Consider this my official notice: I’m done responding to your little provocations. 🙂

Timothy Morgan38 said:They’re completely losing it... they expect interest to be "distributed" among employees... thank God you simplified things for the Department of Treasury idiots
because interest isn't government revenue—it belongs to the employee...
I’ve dealt with this firsthand...
$3.00 I had to split it up among 14 different employees...
so I ended up calculating 0.65 for eleven of them, and 0.64 for the other three,,,,
based on the specific MO2 levels...🤷 it was a total headache.

hmmm... why does everyone have the exact same salary?
Interest has to be calculated proportionally based on each individual employee's MO2 contribution... I'm still sitting here spinning formulas in my head trying to figure out how to calculate this without losing an entire week of my life...
And it’ll balance fine regardless of how you slice it, as long as the final payout matches R.S.M.U.... but personally, I’d rather do it the right way while I'm at it... just so nobody can come breathing down my neck later claiming I messed something up...

If you figure out a way to pull this off, let us know 🙂
I can already tell I’m not going to be able to stick to my word

TGIF!
I'll deal with those thoughts on Monday... actually, scratch that. I'm done thinking about this whole mess.😁
Oh, and $0.00...you really think I'm buying that?
🙂

I'm going to try to build a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet that handles everything automatically... I just need to figure out the logic behind all the formulas first... I really ought to brush up on my percentage calculations so the whole thing actually works...

Finally, a topic worth talking about—I’m actually enjoying this one. So, here’s a situation: I had a guy who was running a bit behind on his corporate obligations. He went down to the LAPD office with his aunt to clear things up, and he paid everything owed—principal and interest included—using the official payment slips. Everything was tied to a single filing from Mexico. Now, according to the LAPD, his balance is zero, but over at Regis? It’s a complete disaster. They can't seem to link the payments to the actual filings, and as for the interest... you might as well throw it in the trash. Good luck figuring out which portion of the interest applies to which month, let alone which specific employee. I tried building my own spreadsheet to track it, but 🧐 says to hold off—maybe some saint out there has already figured this mess out. VTi 🙂 help me out here

Timothy Morgan38 found himself caught in a total sandwich of pleas and begging... he just can't seem to say no to that kind of pressure 😍
And honestly—hurry it up with that Microsoft Excel sheet already, it’s obvious people are starting to lose their minds over this...

🤷 I don't see the issue here... you can knock this out in ten seconds using Excel...
If you have, say, three employees who contributed a total of $657 MIO, and the total interest calculated is $32, you just figure out each person's percentage of that total and multiply it by the interest—let's say $32..
For example:
Employee | MIO | Share | Interest
A | 500 | 0.253807107 | 24.36548223
B | 650 | 0.329949239 | 31.6751269
C | 820 | 0.416243655 | 39.95939086
Total | 1970 | 1 | $32

I don't think this problem is as simple as people are making it out to be; let me break it down using some round numbers to make things clearer—maybe even easier 😉. Here is the breakdown for the MIO-II:
RS-5 1,000.00
RS-6 1,100.00
RS-7 1,200.00
That was the balance at the SEC as of August 31st. At the exact same time, there's an outstanding debt of 3,300.00 sitting with the FBI.
On September 1st, a wire transfer was sent referencing code (RS-7) in the amount of 1,200.00.
At the SEC, the payment is properly closed out against RS form 7. Over at the FBI, both the $67 interest and the $333 principal are correctly cleared.
After that payment, the SEC balance shows only the unpaid RS-5 and RS-6 (totaling $700). Meanwhile, the FBI balance still shows a debt of $767.
So, how exactly should the corrective RS form look? 😕😕😕

So, how do you actually calculate interest for someone who hasn't dealt with this stuff in years? 🙈
The guy runs a crew of about 500 workers—he’s cycling through people every single month—and he hasn't hit a single payment deadline since the beginning of time...
Anyway, I won't bore you with the details... I'm completely lost here. 😂

What’s the going rate these days for some bookkeeper who just sits there staring at a screen, mindlessly punching numbers and data entry all day? 😂
#255 ·
Honestly, they shouldn't even be charging for this. It’s hardly actual work—it's not like you're out there digging a trench or anything. 🙄

They don't have identical pay, but the discrepancies are so tiny that the interest rate difference barely hits the fifth decimal place. Once you round it to two decimals, you end up with roughly what I calculated.
And if I'm off by even a hair, I'm just dying for someone to call me out on it—hell, feel free to fine me if I accidentally underpaid someone by a single penny. ☕

That sounds pretty optimistic compared to my situation.😂
I've been losing my mind over how they distribute things among my thirteen identical workers who all make nearly the exact same salary..
Seriously, tell me one thing... who is actually going to be there to oversee this when the time comes?

Honestly, I don’t even have the energy to deal with this nonsense anymore. 😂
After two months of waiting, Medicare finally mailed me back the paperwork they lost. They didn't even bother registering my small business; they just sent everything right back to me. When I asked them, "Hey, why wasn't the registration completed? Is there an issue?" the lady on the phone just goes, "Well, you told us to let you know once we found the files, so we just mailed them to your house so you wouldn't have to go through the hassle of coming down here..."
I couldn't help but burst out laughing. What are you even supposed to say to that?
