Hey ladies, hope you're all having a wonderful day. Make the most of it! It might be a little while before I can get back online to write something like this again...

Thanks, Gaspard, and thanks
Jessica Grant56!

It seems my colleagues have been staying busy, since nobody else seemed to catch your congratulations until now.
☕I’ll jump in with the rest of the group and invite everyone here to join us for a quick virtual coffee break.

Of course I did—sent an e-card. And consider this a little miscellaneous to all the ladies out there.

Look, I'm just doing my job 🤣

I was actually pretty sick. And trust me, I know how to pick my battles—I know exactly when to call it quits and stay in bed for ten days with a fever. 🙄

Thanks for the well wishes.

Good luck to my wonderful colleagues out there. image

Oh, what a gorgeous rose! Thank you, truly!

I’m also sending my best wishes for a speedy recovery to Lily P.; I hope she finds her spark again soon so she can tackle everything on her plate before the month wraps up.

Vlado3, thanks for catching that error. It was a sharp eye—very professional. It reminds me of what Apis16268 once noted about how you have to steady the lens to really bring the subject into focus.

Best to everyone, and I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.

I am politely asking all the ladies out there—and honestly, anyone else too—to just let us have our peace starting at midnight on March 9th. Just give us a break for the next 364 days, please? It was fun while it lasted, I guess, but now it’s time to get back to our regular, boring routines.

Lili, did you actually catch that "coughing virus" everyone's talking about?? I went down to the CVS to ask about it, and the pharmacist told me—can you believe this?—that people are still coughing for over a month. Cheers to that... personally, I think I've got another ten days of this ahead of me.

Not all bad things are created equal!!

I decided to take a little break from the forums and get away from some of those truly irritating users... (or just one user, really—since there aren't many guys around here, she's already back again)

She took a break, while I just got exhausted. I write, and it vanishes. 🙂

Looks like Jessica Grant56 is back in the crosshairs again... he showed up, haha—it was all so obvious, honestly, even a kid could see through it. Someone with maybe two posts total is acting like things aren't crystal clear... he gives an answer, but it’s nothing concrete besides claiming his program is the absolute best while trashing everyone else. Just ignore them all—I swear, they'll just open ten different accounts to talk to themselves if we let them. No point wasting our breath..🙂

Just grabbing a quick coffee! ☕ Break time!
Almost there! Only half a month left!
Spring is on its way, and everyone is finally waking up—the dreamers, the overachievers, and the bookworms alike! 🙂

Honestly, I’ve officially stopped trying to make sense of that new IRS form regarding interest income they're supposedly rolling out on April 1st. It feels like an impossible mission; I suspect the logic behind it is only clear to whoever actually wrote it.

Or maybe the form is actually fine and I'm just missing something? 🤣🤣🤣 Oops!

I told Richard Howard55 exactly what I was thinking... that he’s basically led her out onto thin ice here, and honestly, it just ends up hurting everyone involved. Besides, we all know from experience—you can't prove anything to someone who refuses to see the truth anyway. Even though he hasn't acted this way in years, there's a reason for it: look at him now, making such a huge scene, overshadowing everyone else just to find some scapegoat we can all point the finger at... We've seen this exact same pattern play out so many times before!

You're mistaken; he walked straight into a trap, and his posts are getting more frantic by the minute.
Don't let Richard Howard55's calm tone fool you; right now, he's dangling a carrot, but believe me, he's holding a stick behind his back. Honestly? It’s more likely that Richard Howard55 will just end up being an idiot, leaving him with nothing to do but bang his head against a wall. 😁
The best move is to step back and let him handle this himself—slowly and systematically—without us interfering.
I've already done my part; she'll finish him off. 😁
At the end of the day, whether we actually prove anything to him is irrelevant. What matters is that potential customers know exactly what they're getting when they invest in Techno or Synapse.

🙂 hehehe, I’ve been sitting here reading through all this... honestly, it’s kind of wild how some people just refuse to throw in the towel. Personally? I think there's some dignity in just taking the L once in a while. It frees up way more time for family and those... uh, spikes... oops. Anyway, coffee's on me! cheers!

But WHY???? Why are you all trying so hard to prove something to someone who isn't even worth it?? What value does he actually bring? What knowledge or help is he offering? Honestly, I deal with enough clients who think they know more than I do. When I offer them the right item—something thoroughly tested, vetted, and top-tier—they don't want that one; they want *that* other one. If I tried to sit there and explain why my option is better, I'd have to spend at least an hour on it. So why bother?? I’ve just given up on trying.

On the other hand—let's be real here... this discussion could go on forever because you can't compare software modules like this in a forum thread. And even if you could—again: why?? I know (I've got a brain, after all!) that Pupils makes massive amounts of money. Every single legal change translates into hundreds of thousands of dollars for them because their user base is huge. I kind of hate them for it, but hey, David Bowie is David Bowie—he had a good nose for this, bought foreign source code, and made it work... so, fine. He didn't steal it. And as time goes on, they’re getting better; they even provide free updates now and are more flexible with feedback. The software is performing better too. Then you have these little garage programs—built just to get the job done—but they don't even hold 1/10th of the market share that Pupils holds. Look, let them try; let the customers decide, that's fine. What really bothered us was the constant Jump into the conversation whenever anyone mentioned Synapse, always followed by that inevitable: "but Techno does it this way..."

And I don't want to drone on: for me, this thread should be about HELPING people who actually need it. This tug-of-war with someone unprovable just wastes time and space—especially considering Richard Howard55, who is both willing and capable of spending her time much more wisely by helping others, and I get the impression she knows this software inside and out!

Oh, and one more thing: I don't think any of this actually helps potential buyers!! In fact, it seems to me like it just clouds the whole picture... It's like comparing a Fiat to a Merge, and that's just not a fair fight.

Honestly, you don't even have to deal with the old "record this, then launch that" routine anymore. You just hit the button, it tells you which version you're running versus the latest one available... and if you give it the thumbs up—it handles everything itself. I actually finished my update just yesterday.

Wait, was that supposed to be a Haiku?
