"Passions of the mind"? What does that even mean to you? Is it some sort of intellectual fervor? Or just abstract nonsense?
Do you honestly believe the public school system—as it stands today—is capable of teaching someone how to actually master their own impulses? To me, that feels like nothing more than a utopian fantasy.

It’s tough watching how many people get bogged down in the trivialities of daily life, never once stepping back to look at the bigger picture... To me, finding purpose means chasing happiness through a philosophical lens while fulfilling our evolutionary drive to reproduce.
