Why would anyone actually want to remember their past lives?
I’m assuming nature has its reasons for keeping those memories locked away from us.

Lately, I’ve found myself reflecting on certain unusual, almost inexplicable "journeys"—journeys of the soul. There is a book by Isaac Newton regarding this. He suggests that at times in our current lives, we may be struck by completely unexplainable emotions that prevent us from moving forward; feelings that descend upon us out of nowhere and disrupt our daily existence. They say that through hypnosis, it is possible to return the soul to past lives and finally grasp the true origins of our present struggles.
I assume some of you are already rolling your eyes, thinking this topic is just "morning fluff," but for me, this is deeply important..
Please, share your thoughts and experiences. Have any of you ever experienced this firsthand, whether through hypnosis or something similar?..
Is there anyone in Italy!!!!! or the US who practices this?
Thank you so much.. please write back 😉
Man, I used to spend so much time reading up on regression stuff like twenty years ago, and honestly, I was totally obsessed with the idea of actually trying it out! It sounded so fascinating, you know? But at the same time, there was this underlying layer of fear that just wouldn't let go because everything about it felt so incredibly foreign and unknown to me. Plus, I was dealing with this one specific phobia that I could never quite put into words, and it was so intense that it basically acted like a brick wall, stopping me right in my tracks from taking that leap and facing exactly what I was terrified of!
So, get this—by some crazy stroke of luck, I found out through a close friend that her cousin actually went out and got certified to perform regression therapy! Apparently, she studied under this specialist from Switzerland and is now practicing right here in Chicago. I ended up getting in touch with her just to pick her brain a little and see what she was all about, you know? We had this super chill chat where I was basically just testing the waters to see if she was legit. She told me that when she performs these sessions, she actually works alongside a doctor so they can hook the person up to an EKG monitor! Can you believe that? They want to track any physical reactions the person might have while they're deep in the middle of their regression experience!
So, I’ve been sitting here reading up on this and just letting it all marinate in my brain for a while now, and honestly, after a ton of overthinking, I finally bit the bullet and decided to just go for it! Can you believe it? I was actually terrified, like, genuinely shaking kind of scared, if I'm being totally real with you guys!
So, get this—the girl running my regression session actually managed to totally chill me out before we even got started! She just looked at me and said that the absolute worst-case scenario here is that nothing happens at all, especially since this is my first time around living this life, you know? Isn't that such a wild way to look at it? It honestly made me feel so much more relaxed about the whole thing!
Honestly, that first regression experience was just totally one-of-a-kind! I can say without a doubt that I have zero regrets about diving headfirst into it. It actually allowed me to finally confront my biggest phobia and trace exactly where all those deep-seated roots were coming from. My guide kept coaching me on how to just let go and relax my body, basically teaching me how to tune out the physical stuff so my conscious and subconscious minds could really start vibing together in perfect balance, you know? Everything else I witnessed, though, I had to find the words for myself. Man, even now, when I look back on it, I still catch myself thinking about how surreal the whole thing felt in the moment! But despite those heavy, traumatic flashes I went through—tracing everything from my birth all the way to my death in a past life—it was honestly such a beautiful experience.
So, I actually went ahead and did that whole thing two more times after the first go, though I have to admit the hype wasn't quite as crazy as that initial experience! It wasn't like anything bad happened or anything—honestly, if anything, it was actually pretty helpful? It kind of gave me a chance to finally wrap my head around these weird fears and random emotions that have been haunting me lately, even when I couldn't figure out where they were coming from in the first place!
Is all of this just some kind of psychological theater or what? I mean, maybe, but you can't deny that it actually works! At the end of the day, when it comes to really tackling our problems and finding a way forward, aren't we ultimately just on our own dealing with ourselves?😉

So, I actually went through one of those non-hypnotic regressions about a year or two back. Honestly, the whole experience is pretty beautiful, and I really don't think anyone needs to be intimidated by it—especially since you’re diving into it with someone who actually knows what they're doing. Personally, though, I didn't walk away with some massive, life-altering epiphany or anything; I just remembered a few random details here and there, nothing that truly blew my mind. If I had the choice, I’d much rather try a full-on hypnotic regression instead. Has anyone else here actually tried that?

To be honest, 😁 there isn’t really a difference between hypnotic and non-hypnotic regression. It's mostly just a marketing gimmick.

I’m assuming nature has its reasons for keeping those memories locked away from us.
It isn't about nature. It's about our capacity. Specifically, our stage of spiritual growth. As spiritual beings—Souls—once we gather enough experience in this world, we start to grasp and accept the reality of previous lives. Then, we reach a point where we can actually peek back at those past lives to see what needs fixing with certain people so we can outgrow specific problems.
The lady here mentioned the journey of souls, which is a term used for conscious travel to higher realms, where you can glimpse your own lives through the causal world while dreaming.
To be precise, it’s a method for the conscious expansion of awareness, which is a spiritual category, not an intellectual one.
So, nature isn't hiding past lives from us. It's our own mental sensor protecting us from facing higher truths and realities before we are spiritually ready.
I'd say there's a slim chance hypnotic regression would reveal the most painful moments, or at least the ones where we were the cause of the trouble. That's how the sensor protects us if we aren't capable of taking responsibility yet. Usually, people still prefer to see someone else as the culprit. Because of that, instead of regression, it might be better to try a solid spiritual exercise using dreams to help solve certain issues before we are truly ready to face the actual cause from the past.

Yeah, looks like we were reading from the same playbook. 🙂
The difference is—even with my own experiences in this field—I can't quite claim it's all 100% settled truth like you can.
Maybe you just took that extra step further than I did. 🤷
Still, that doesn't change the core of my question regarding motivation—that drive to uncover past lives—or the fact that some people aren't spontaneously "gifted" with that knowledge. Honestly, maybe they aren't given those answers for a good reason.
[Whether you call our "inner mental compass" part of nature or something else that hides—or reveals—past lives remains the question.]

They have them in Italy:
