I often find myself wishing I possessed a bit more self-assurance, perhaps even a touch of that lighthearted frivolity some people seem to carry so easily, or an inclination toward optimism that remains just out of my reach.

There is a certain envy I feel toward those who find amusement in the mundane; for me, laughter isn't something that happens spontaneously. It feels as though I require a massive, multi-layered surge of mental stimulation just to muster a genuine chuckle. If that were the case, life would be much lighter, because currently, for me to actually laugh, something has to be profoundly, almost unnaturally hilarious. Since those moments are few and far between, I spend most of my time simply observing the world with a rather heavy heart.

I suppose I’ve always harbored this desire to be truly intuitive—to live without all that unnecessary mental clutter, staying calm and centered... just feeling genuinely confident in myself and everything I set out to do... the real deal, I guess...
And if I’m being honest, I’d love to shift my entire perception—to approach life, myself, and the world through a completely different lens... essentially, I want to reach a state of true maturity while somehow managing to hold onto that sense of wonder and playfulness we have as children🙂 that's pretty much it

Though, I guess that isn't quite the whole story😁 deep down, I really hope that humanity might actually find some kind of meaningful purpose in my existence eventually😍

Beauty, sex appeal, physical traits... does anyone actually want any of that?
Hair?😉

I really wish I could just be more well-rounded and cultured!
☕Like, knowing exactly when to speak up and when to just stay quiet.
☕And man, I wish I had the willpower to actually get things done, stick to my goals, and stay active instead of just sleeping my life away and living on endless cups of coffee!

For me, it's definitely hair. Just waiting until I have some extra cash to go grab some extensions!

If only all those other qualities were as easy to buy...

I wish I could just stop exhausting myself trying to make sense of people who simply don't get me, and who clearly don't care to.

When you're constantly pissed off at yourself and everyone else, it just exposes this deep inner unrest... it's basically a constant war against who you actually are..
I guess we can conclude that the person isn't truly content or happy..

They probably just catch these tiny flashes of happiness whenever they get what they want...

Look, I'm willing to help anyone out.. I want to help people learn how to actually be okay with their own traits and qualities..

If anyone needs some advice, feel free to reach out.. I'm here to help..

I honestly feel more blessed than God himself; I deal with far less bullshit on a daily basis, so I’d say luck is definitely on my side.

Are you, though?

First off, you're comparing yourself to a deity. I don't see God, but I know what the word means.

Putting yourself above a divinity... I guess that's the first sign of being an unhappy person.

You said something that doesn't even have a point. It won't help anyone else... it just helps you. You've basically put your ego above everything.

When people act like that, you can tell they're dissatisfied.

Second... you're being vulgar. Swearing is just another indicator of being miserable.

Third, you say, "lucky me!" That just shows how wrapped up you are in your own ego.

You want something. When someone is actually content, they don't need anything else in a material sense.

Don't take this personally. If you do... then my bad.

Man, you really took everything he said literally, didn't you?
What do you mean swearing is proof of dissatisfaction??? 😂😂 Where on earth did you get that idea? lol

If I were to say, "Screw you," would you immediately label me as the devil just because certain things are considered taboo?

You don't have to take every single thing posted on an online forum at face value. 🤦 👍

You just don't get it... fine, I'll play along with your logic if it makes you feel better.👍

Man, that was a pretty polite way of saying "you're wrong!"
I can't tell if you're just too lazy to explain yourself or if you're actually trying to flex how much "better" your perspective is than mine...

So, come on, walk me through it. Why on earth do you think absolutely everything posted on this forum needs to be overanalyzed to such an extreme degree based on just one single sentence?

Sometimes, words are just words. If we constantly dig for hidden meanings behind every little thing, we're just going to end up in endless, pointless arguments...

I'm with you on that...

But here's the real question: what specific traits or characteristics would people actually want to have?

Is that even the question a satisfied person asks? Are all the people listing qualities actually happy with themselves? No. They clearly have some kind of issue...

And regarding stormycanyon11:

I'm happier than God, I deal with way less crap, lucky me!

If she's so satisfied, why bother posting it? That statement doesn't accomplish anything for anyone else. It’s just self-serving...

Take me, for example. I feel content... but I'm not going to go around broadcasting that to everyone. Why would I tell people I'm satisfied? I'll just stay quiet and show it by being kind or doing something helpful for someone...

What's the point of announcing you're happy? People who are actually satisfied don't feel the need to say it. They don't need to, because they're good... 🙂

To @wanderinggull35;

I find myself agreeing with you on many points, I suppose. However, maybe you could try presenting your perspective in a way that feels a little less aggressive. You aren't the only one who has spent time studying David Icke, Jiddu Krishnamurti, or Chögyam Trungpa.
I don't think you've truly grasped the essence of God.
It might just be your perception.

Sorry friend if that came off as an attack...

Anyway, I haven't actually read any of those guys... I don't really deal with psychology... and I don't read books much... honestly, hardly at all...

I just read myself and observed others...

As for God, I don't know anything... I don't even know who He is, let alone grab Him by the beard.... 🙂

1) So what? Are you projecting your own self-perceptions onto other people?
2) I think you should at least try to have some faith if you intend to weigh in on religious debates later on.
3) Why don't you read books?

Hair?😉

Honestly, if you ask me, I would go for hair—I'm talking loooooong, down to my waist, thick, wavy hair... the kind where I could just toss it around and leave everyone breathless...
But then again, that’s an easy fix with extensions, which I’m actually planning to get this fall...

I’m staying quiet on the comments section because, frankly, I have this nagging suspicion that if I spoke up, nobody would take me seriously—but still, you really ought to take a moment to sit with yourselves and interrogate those so-called "convictions" you hold so dear.
