I feel like I'm a total failure at everything

Look, you really ought to be proud of yourself for standing your ground and shutting out all that noise from everyone around you. Even if it means being blunt with your parents or pushing back against their expectations—just don't let them get in your head. If God wills it, you'll build a family of your own one day, and everything will eventually fall into place. Just stay strong, stay patient, and for heaven's sake, stop listening to those idiots who have nothing better to do with their lives than judge yours.
Just keep moving forward. I know it’s tough, but that’s just how life works. Everyone carries their own heavy burdens.
And please, stop telling yourself you lack talent. Don't go building an inferiority complex over nothing.

Of course you will. My old man used to tell me all the time that I’d never amount to anything—that I'd never see my students winning national awards for poetry in the USA or anything like that. He was convinced I wouldn't achieve a damn thing, but honestly? You can do whatever you set your mind to.
