Yeah, I’m with you on that.
I mean, I’ve reached a point where those billions they swiped from us don't even sting as much anymore, but seeing how they've saddled our grandkids with all this debt... man, that's the part that actually sticks with you.🙄😲

I just feel bad for that 30-40% of the population that keeps voting for them year after year... actually, I feel bad for all of us, because we're the ones paying the price for those folks' mistakes...

You're spot on.
Every single word.

It’s not even a matter of being robbed; it’s more that I’m basically running on life support at this point, just like the rest of the country.

Morgan Rodriguez57 said:Then you can rest easy knowing that's just some Republican Party talking point... I mean, seriously, like the Hague wouldn't even be looking into those operations if we hadn't basically rolled out the red carpet for them... I don't know what kind of parallel universe you're living in where that makes sense... 😁

Believe whatever makes you feel better, honestly. The ICC wouldn't have even breathed a word about those defense actions if the coalition back then—working alongside the President—hadn't actually cooperated and signed off on everything they asked for. Back in '97, the previous administration basically stonewalled them and refused to sign anything. But hey, who cares, right? It seems like Americans have a memory span of maybe a few weeks, if we're being lucky.

Yeah, right. They wouldn't have pulled off those actions regardless—I mean, how incredibly naive can one statement actually be??😂😂🤣🤣😂😂

Look, it's pretty obvious you're just a kid, if I don't say something else. There are literally endless threads here about jurisdiction over Operation Storm and Flash, the International Criminal Court, the whole dynamic between the prosecution and the defense... so just go read them. I honestly can't be bothered with you; you aren't being funny or smart.

There are, but they’re either totally naive or written strictly from a Republican Party perspective... because honestly, it's either incredibly gullible or politically sneaky to think—or suggest—that the International Criminal Court isn't allowed to investigate and prosecute the very things it was actually created for, just because some state handed them a scrap of paper that basically says "no-no"...😁

What seems "obvious" to one person is an absolute mystery to someone else, I guess. 😉

Everything about this is actually quite clear if you think about it—jurisdiction is a settled matter regardless of which administration is in power. Honestly, if George W. Bush had won the election back in 2000, we’d be staring at the exact same situation. And don't even get me started on how nonsensical it is to have a court that only targets specific actions... I mean, how do you think the European Union would ever tolerate that? Besides, if nothing illegal actually happened, then let them investigate until they're blue in the face... but if there *were* dirty dealings, we should have handled that ourselves a long time ago instead of waiting on the International Criminal Court to step in.

And besides, who was even asking for the International Criminal Court to be established in the first place? If I recall correctly, America was one of the founding nations.

(zijev) Well, yeah, you have to dig deeper. If you can still find any of those old forum users who were actually worth talking to, you'll find the threads I'm talking about. The International Criminal Court got the green light regarding Operation Storm and Operation Flash, which basically means America accepted the possibility that both those operations were part of a deliberate plan to drive Mexicans out of the country. That’s the whole point of Ivo Josipovic, and that’s really the core of the coalition led by the Democrats. I guess everyone who admires that messed-up coalition today and how they opened our doors to the world should tell me... why are we still being laughed at by that very same world? Actually, never mind, it's like I already know the answer—people who apologize to the aggressor instead of acting like proud members of the human race don't deserve anything better.

America's been picked clean by individuals backed by EVERY SINGLE political party on the map over the last two decades—no exceptions. To me, there’s zero difference between the ones actually grabbing the cash and the ones holding the bag or the ladder.
I guess it’s just the curse of any nation going through a massive transition, especially those hit hard by war. It’s always the same old story: one man's war is another man's payday. Honestly? It’ll probably stay this way as long as humans exist. It’s just part of our messed-up nature...☕

Look, a thief is a thief, sure, but we can't just pretend everyone shares the exact same level of blame here... parties that have never even held power are obviously less responsible than the one that sat in the driver's seat for sixteen years. It’s not the same thing to say one guy from party X stole something versus a thousand people from party Y—that doesn't mean party X and party Y are equally guilty.🙂🙂

That’s exactly it, and I guess that’s really why the coalition under the Democrats didn't lock up a single soul back then. It makes you wonder, right? Like, why was the Department of Justice just sitting on its hands during that whole period? And honestly, maybe it's because the leadership personally pulled the plug on that entire investigation into the top 200 wealthiest families. It just feels like everything was intentionally stalled.

But, I mean, look... twenty years isn't everything, right? It's not like this just started recently. I guess you could say this kind of situation has actually been hanging over us since the end of World War II. Maybe it's deeper than that. It feels like it's always been there, in some way.

Look, nobody stole anything from me. But if you think the current Republican Party is doing a good job, you're wrong. They were actually useful back during the Reagan era, but today? Honestly, they might as well just join up with the Democratic Party and reform the old Communist Party of the USA.

Oh, give me a break. What else am I supposed to stay quiet about? Maybe we should just go ahead and blame Joseph Franjo too, right?🤣

Anyway, I'm pissed off. I feel cheated, honestly. Just stuck. I look at businesses all around me. People waiting outside hospitals—those are my people. Everything is stalled. Everyone is just waiting. Debts are piling up. Nothing is actually happening. If I told you all which companies sent their employees home to wait for a paycheck today, you'd be shocked. And I'm not talking about some shady fly-by-night startups. These are solid companies that have been running smoothly for over 20 years.
It's a coma. Total coma. Nothing else.

I’ve got the exact amount the Republican Party swindled out of me just in 2009 alone.
under the guise of "protection fees"$877
and under the pretext of hiked interest rates on my credit card$498

Who am I even supposed to report this to?

I’ve made up my mind: I am officially done giving even 5% of my damn energy to this bunch of clientelist bottom-feeders.
I'm just done exhausting myself... who... where... when... why...
these traitors to their own people, from the far left all the way to the hard right.
Just trust in yourself and put in the work.
Even if it means grinding through three jobs a day.

I guess I should probably start by saying... well, let me think. It’s hard to put into words sometimes, you know? But anyway, I was just sitting here thinking about everything that's been going on lately. It feels like things are constantly shifting, and honestly, I'm not always sure where we stand. Maybe I'm overthinking it, or maybe everyone else is just missing the point? I don't know. It’s just one of those things where you feel like you need to say something, even if it's just a little bit of a rambling thought. I really mean it, though. I truly do.

What can I even say... honestly, looking at the posts below, you actually called it. You were totally right ;-)

Honestly, I’m just feeling so angry right now. I feel cheated, honestly... just kind of stuck and powerless. It’s hard not to look around at all the businesses nearby and feel that way. I see people lined up outside the hospital—my people, I guess. Everything is just frozen. Everyone is just standing there, waiting. Debts are piling up left and field, and nothing is actually happening. If I started telling you all about which specific companies have already sent their employees home to sit around and wait, I think you'd all be pretty shocked. And we aren't even talking about some fly-by-night startups here. These are serious, established corporations that have been operating successfully for over twenty years. It's just... it's a lot. I guess everything is just stalled.
Coma. Just... coma. And nothing else. I mean, that’s really all there is to it, I guess.

The world really took off after WWII, you know? It just kept developing, modernizing, and constantly getting better... but we? We were stuck in this cycle of constant setbacks and that old regime, just watching all those dictators in their fancy white suits travel around like they owned the place. I mean, everything you’re seeing right now—all the stuff you listed—it’s all just a direct consequence of that era and all those politicians who came from it. It feels like we’ve been frozen in time, maybe stuck at the level where parts of the Midwest were back in the early '80s. And then there's this mindset... people just sit around expecting the government to swoop in and fix every single thing, but they don't seem to realize that's not how it works within the system we actually chose for ourselves. I guess it's just complicated.

It didn't just stop in the 80s when that first guy in the white suit passed away... we had our own version of that during the 90s too. And now, in this new century, it’s not even about the suits anymore—it’s about the watches. And honestly? It isn't some flaw in the system itself. It's just people. People who always end up crowding into whatever structure exists and then successfully lead their little "flock" along, regardless of what the current "system" happens to be.

We actually started out pretty strong back in the 90s, even through the war years. If people had just been a little less foolish... Gamad managed to screw everything up. Just everything. Seriously, open your eyes for once.

Well, you should open them, because those exact scumbags are what I'm talking about. You know, the kind of crowd that stays in power, passing the torch from one generation to the next, and then we actually turn around and ask them to save us? It doesn't work like that. I guess.
