but honestly, those chairs have to be close! the fireplace is tiny, truly minuscule... I mean, if everyone sat two meters away from such a little thing just to maintain some polite distance, they wouldn't feel the warmth at all...😬

Betting shops. Just one word, but it carries enough baggage to sink a battleship. Why is it that we can't just let people gamble in peace without every pundit and lawmaker acting like it’s the downfall of Western civilization? If you actually want to communicate, you sit down face-to-face. It’s that simple. You look someone in the eye. No screens, no distractions. Just two people across a table. Why does everyone make it so complicated?
And there really needs to be some breathing room. You have to respect a person's "personal space" when you're talking to them.

A little bit of sweetness... if you can call it that.

Regarding that border arbitration... he basically chased him right into the mud.

Maybe historians will eventually decipher whether America surrendered territory just to satisfy some Alpine playboy,
or if a few flattering remarks toward a fiery medieval woman were enough.

And then there was everything else America had to concede—from those Bank of America savings issues to the Non-Krasno matters, and so on and so forth...
