I'm just sitting here reading right now, so I guess I was wondering what you guys actually think about this book?

Honestly though, from my experience, just looking for answers there hasn't really yielded much for me yet—you type in a search and things pop up, sure, but it's not always what you're after. I am a believer, though. I still make it to church.

The Secret is probably more geared toward the masses.
So, I suppose it's true that the same—or something similar—gets "packaged" differently... but isn't that just how everything works? I mean, you've heard of easy, medium, and hard modes, right?😉

It honestly sounds a lot like the Law of Attraction

Wasn't there some other Abraham who channeled in the best-selling books ever? The whole thing feels quite suspicious, regardless of what the channeler claims. 😁
That aside, does the book actually offer any decent insights? Is it worth reading for inspiration?
driftingfox15 said:Like I was saying before, the whole secret is laid out in a pretty straightforward way, and personally, I found it quite inspiring since it helped me dive headfirst into the entire law of attraction system, though I guess using Abraham's teachings allowed me to go a step deeper. After just a little while of reading, I felt like I was actually making some progress, which I know is mostly on me, but the book definitely acted as the catalyst. It does a really solid job describing meditations, which was great for me. So, I’d recommend the book, but again, I'm just giving you my own take 😉 Maybe I'll find something better tomorrow 🙂 But honestly, the most important thing is just constantly working on yourself.
Brian Foster3 said:Look, I haven't touched the book and honestly, I don't plan to. But let me tell you something about Abraham's teachings—it’s just Kabbalah by another name. The word itself comes from the Hebrew "le kabel," which basically means "to receive." The whole teaching is just a method designed to teach you how to receive everything that's supposed to be yours from a higher power. It's all about learning how to receive things the "right" way.
