fadedscout2 said:I was absolutely losing my mind yesterday when I had to swing by the IRS just to get a stamp—because apparently, I still need those, because our system is just working so incredibly smoothly, right? 🙄 And this lady looks at me and goes, "Oh, I see it's been six months since your last check-in... I'll have to schedule an appointment for you," and then she actually gives me a date of November 2nd—which is literally only a week before my due date!!!!—just so I can come in for an individual consultation to revise my business plan!! 😕😕 wtf?!?!? 😠😠
🙂🙂🙂🙂

Wait, I'm heading to the unemployment office now 😁
Just don't show up and call it a day. Call them that morning or even the day before and tell them you can't make it because you're having contractions... who's actually going to stop you? :P

God, she's basically a psychic at this point 😂

Seriously though... I went to drop off a urine sample the other day, and right on the lab door, it says in huge letters: PREGNANT WOMEN AND DISABLED PATIENTS HAVE PRIORITY!!
So there I am, looking at this massive line, and I ask this elderly lady, "Excuse me, ma'am, mind if I jump ahead of you?" I really didn't feel like waiting because I could see some people coughing and sneezing, and honestly, I just didn't have the energy to stand there for 15 minutes... even if it was moving fast... especially being 36 weeks pregnant. The lady goes, "Of course you can, honey!" So I try to step in, but then this middle-aged guy behind her just shoves me aside, saying, "Hey, take it easy, I've been standing here for half an hour and I'm sick," and he just pushes right past. I just stood there frozen, totally stunned by what happened... when the old lady finally finished, she absolutely laid into him; I actually felt embarrassed just for being involved in that mess...
I generally hate cutting in line, so now I find myself back at the end of the queue, whether it's at the doctor's office, the post office, or the DMV... it seems like people just refuse to acknowledge a baby bump. Total lack of manners.

I don't feel bad about it at all...🙂...I take full advantage of it whenever I can...🙂...hehehehe...whether it's at the Post Office... the grocery store... the local clinic... wherever I read that pregnant women get priority... I just head to the front... give them a little smile... and I'm good to go...🙂...

Ugh, I’m feeling a bit bitey today. My hormones are absolutely wrecking me, which apparently made me a prime target for yet another overly "friendly" salesperson looking to make a quick buck...🙄
I was just standing there at the express lane in Target, second in line, when the cashier suddenly turns to address me while she's still ringing up the person right in front of me...
"Oh, sorry ma'am, I didn't see you there—this register isn't working anymore," she says.
I just stared at her, completely stunned 🙄,
aaaaa, and then I just let loose.
I gave her a piece of my mind because, honestly, she couldn't handle herself for a second...🙂🙂:2up:🙂
Every single cashier in the store heard me coming...
She really had the nerve to tell me—a pregnant woman holding just four items—that I had to go find another lane because she "couldn't manage" to ring me up quickly enough.👎

Man, those retail clerks really get under my skin. They’re rude, and sometimes I honestly wonder if they’re even following the conversation. They look at you like you've lost your mind if you point out a price is too high—and heaven forbid you actually say it out loud. Like they're the ones paying the bills or something. $3333I mean, they can easily afford that... ugh.

I am seriously losing my mind over people touching my belly! Like, actually losing it!
Before I can even process what’s happening, people start interrogating me about how many months I am and exactly how big the bump is... And then comes that exact moment where they pull at my shirt just to get a better look at where their hands have already been! 😠😠😠

What makes my blood boil even more is that it’s usually just random acquaintances—people I barely even talk to—instead of actual family members!!! 😠

It honestly drives me absolutely insane how much misinformation about breastfeeding I have to deal with constantly from everyone around me—friends, family, and just random people in general... and the worst part is you can't even try to set them straight because they're so dead set on believing every single myth passed around like gospel, so when you actually try to bring up the facts, suddenly I'm the one who sounds clueless while they think they've got it all figured out!

Goldman Sachs in San Diego is taking a massive hit
It’s just reckless behavior. Look, I don't need to be dragged into their business—it’s not like I’m pregnant or anything—but there comes a point where you shouldn't spend ten minutes on a private call discussing what someone's making for dinner while I'm still sitting here waiting for 🙂🙂
. I can't wait until I'm back at my desk so I can finally switch banks.

It honestly gets under my skin when my mom keeps telling me I’ve already started filling out and that I’m headed straight for a major weight gain issue.

Given that I’m about 5'5", it feels a bit concerning... I don't exactly overeat, but then again, I'm not exactly running marathons either... I really need to get my act together... though I wonder how I'm even supposed to start hitting those step goals???

Comments... man, people can be relentless. They start asking about your weight or how much you've gained right when you're preparing to give birth. Like, if I say I've put on three pounds, they act like it's 😲
.

But first things first... how is the baby doing? How big is the little one? Honestly, I might just catch the measles from all this stress.

Ugh, tell me about it... it’s the same old story every single day. I was at the doctor’s this morning getting blood work done, just standing there in line, when this woman I know walks up and goes, "Oh my god, I heard you're pregnant! When are you due?" So I tell her, "January." Then she starts going on about how her daughter-in-law is also due around then, but claims she's got a massive belly compared to mine and that mine is still tiny 😛 It's always some unsolicited comment or some ridiculous comparison... 😛

I honestly don’t even know where to post this, I just hope it doesn't get moved because I seriously need to vent before I lose it, and I know damn well that being this pissed off isn't good for my daughter!! So, I went to the ATM today and I just absolutely lost my mind—both at the machine and inside the branch—because some little brat started scrolling through my statement, pointing out everywhere I supposedly SPENT money!!!! It wasn't even about that, though. I know exactly who screwed me over and exactly why my account balance looks the way it does right now!!! Like, sure, "paychecks were deposited," blah blah blah... but my entire freaking paycheck was swallowed up because apparently someone "processed the transfer wrong" or whatever bullshit they're claiming!!!
I swear, the system is so broken; it’s always the people who know nothing and have connections and enough cash to pay their way off who win!! Instead of the hardworking person who actually stays humble and stays out of trouble!!
And I am so incredibly done with the fact that every single cent I earn basically gets handed straight to the bank because "someone made an error" during the deposit process!!! Error my ass!!!
Now I’m heading to the dentist—let them finish me off at this point..
Thanks for listening, and sorry if this is a mess.. I just had to get it out, I couldn't hold it in anymore.. 😢😢😢

So, my husband and I stopped by JPMorgan Chase today to grab some paperwork, and I noticed a line of about 150 people ahead of us.😲
We eventually headed over to check out his company's office, but honestly, those women working at the teller window—the ones specifically meant to assist pregnant women—didn't even acknowledge us.🙂 🙂

Absolutely disgusting. It’s like there’s nowhere left in this country where being pregnant actually gets you any priority! Total disgrace. Just the other day, I was stuck waiting at a major hospital in Chicago for like 45 minutes just to get blood drawn so they could update my prenatal records. Some woman sees my bump and tells me babies get priority, and then this group of older ladies in the queue—there were at least 30 people there, a total circus—start chiming in saying "the baby can wait, but the old folks can't." Like, what are you even supposed to say to that?😠 When I finally get to the front, the nurse inside snaps at me, asking why I didn't follow the "wait your turn" sign on the door. I’m telling you, I thought the crowd was going to tear me apart right then and there because people were already starting to get restless...😛

oooh, honestly, I don't see why you're letting it get to you. You waited your turn, you have the priority, and all those old ladies can do is grumble because they don't have any other options. And frankly, who cares what they think? 😁
I personally have zero patience for people like that; it’s as if they’ve never actually been through pregnancy themselves. If they start making a scene at you, just give them one of these excuses: either tell them you're pregnant, or say you're rushing off to work—and make sure to mention a grueling job like unloading sugar shipments at a warehouse, since they won't let you take more than a thirty-minute break anyway.

Seriously, just wait until someone cuts in front of you again. I’m playing nice for now—patiently waiting my turn—but when they start pushing through... man. Today, I saw one of those people and just gave them this polite little smile and said, "I was actually next in line, but don't worry about it, go ahead. You'll get your barley porridge eventually." 😬 The whole grocery store went silent for a second before everyone started whispering about it; they were so embarrassed that they actually let me go first. 🤣

Since we’re on the subject of pregnant women getting priority in waiting rooms—well, my bump isn't even showing yet, but logically, I figured I’d get some preferential treatment at the OB-GYN. Instead, I end up sitting there for three hours because every single pregnant woman in the building was ahead of me, along with a few elderly ladies who spent the entire time lecturing everyone that pregnancy isn't an illness. They kept going on about how things were different back in their day, when pregnant women actually got priority, calling our current system ridiculous and nonsense. Then, finally, it’s my turn, and one of those old ladies looks at me and goes: "Wait, you aren't pregnant too?"
Me: Yes. Old lady:🙄🙄🙄 And she wouldn't even let me cut in front of her! Honestly, thank goodness the doctor stepped out into the hallway for a second and pulled me aside, giving that lady a piece of her mind for being so incredibly rude.

Ugh, those little comments seriously make me want to barf. That whole "back in our day..." routine is just the worst.
I once had some old lady tell me how before her time, women used to carry huge loads of firewood up to the second floor right until they went into labor!!! 🧐
And I was just like, wow... great. Good luck to the baby dealing with a lunatic like that... 🙄

Every now and then, I get those moments where things just let go, but honestly, it doesn't happen all that often 🙄.... Now, I’m basically built like an elephant, so there's no hiding it 😂...... The hardest part was definitely back when I wasn't even showing yet. I was dealing with constant dizziness and nausea, and you can only really get a pass if you start a fight, because visually, you can't prove you're pregnant 😂🙄

I guess my best bet for getting priority is just heading straight to the front of the line, finding the first person there, explaining the situation—since I'm still hiding the bump under my clothes—and hoping they let me through 🤔

I haven't really tested this out at a Chase branch or a Target or anything, but I have a feeling it only works with the younger crowd... they usually just let you go without making a fuss... whereas if you try that with the older folks, they probably wouldn't even give it a second thought 👎

I’ve been dealing with these constant mood swings lately, and honestly, it’s exhausting. I feel like I've become incredibly irritable, just looking for any excuse to pick a fight all day long.

And if I’m being completely blunt, I can't stand the fact that my partner is stuck watching this absolute garbage of a game today.😠
