Same thing happens in Natural Sciences. Personally, I think that's fine.
I think, purely for the sake of fairness, the Alternative PDF should receive equal treatment. If it were run the way you’re suggesting, what would anyone even be allowed to write in Alternative? Hemp oil? Since doctors prescribe that now, it isn't even "alternative" anymore—so that would be it?
Of course it's fine. 👍
If I were to jump into a thread about comic books and write a massive post about playing chess, I’d actually be grateful if the mods just moved it over to the chess board instead of hitting me with a ban.
But just imagine if the alternative sub-forum was moderated with that kind of quality... 90% of the posts lately would have been moved, but they wouldn't even end up in science or medicine because most of the trolls
don't actually write about science or medicine at all—mostly because they don't have a clue—so they'd just be moved to
the off-topic lounge or deleted forever for breaking the rules.

Every sub-forum should receive equal treatment, and everyone should strictly follow the
established rules for the forum and its sub-sections.
And honestly, it wouldn't be any problem at all.

As far as I know, you can't even buy its oil in Amsterdam, yet it supposedly helps a lot of people dealing with cancer. Even though it’s still categorized as alternative, most people who advocate for mainstream medicine are starting to accept it. That means there’s something to it. Meanwhile, raw foodism is still relegated to obscure websites called things like "New World Order," "third eye," and so on. I’m not saying it won't change in the future, but that requires actual, real-world results. And if those results truly manifest, then the mainstream media will eventually start reporting on them.
What’s being written here on this forum is incredibly dangerous. People are recommending certain diets to cure cancers when they haven't personally cured a single soul in their lives. You can tell by the way they post. Some of them don't even grasp the basics of biology. Look, I’m no biology expert myself, but I don't go around claiming I am or pretending I can cure every disease out there.
People die from driving cars, too; driving is a stressor that shortens your life. I don't see any reason why someone shouldn't die from chemotherapy—it's the best tool we currently have (scientifically proven). In some branches of medicine, we are still stuck in the Middle Ages. 🤷
People in the alternative health community always preach about freedom of speech, but let's be real: it isn't absolute. Just because you have the right to say whatever crosses your mind doesn't mean you have the right to put other people in harm's way. The reality is that this sub-forum has become a complete free-for-all where people post just about anything under the sun.
If we were living back in Nazi Germany, I could easily claim I had the right to target a Jewish family just because society at the time deemed it acceptable, and then act confused when anyone dared to object to my "rights."
Once again, you're intentionally twisting things in that classic style of yours, yet whenever I ask for a link, you can never seem to produce one.
Do you perhaps want to provide the links to those sites you just mentioned? 😁

Do you really think it would be better
if they were suggesting methods that don't actually do anything at all?🤦
So, in your view, would it be better if people just stopped discussing the topic altogether?
As long as everything stays within the scope of the thread and doesn't violate the Reddit rules or the laws of the USA, I don't see any reason why people shouldn't talk about it.
In fact,, I'd say it's actually encouraged—
to discuss the subject at hand.If someone doesn't like it or simply isn't interested, I don't see much point in them showing up and wasting their precious time.
Just a little reminder: at the beginning of every thread, the original poster explicitly states
what the discussion will cover. For instance, the creator of the raw food thread explained it
right in the very first sentence of the intro post. Therefore,
the topic is specifically about nutrition and healing through raw food. 😉
I assume it's pretty obvious to you what each individual sub-forum covers.
Specifically, for the alternative section, it clearly states—
a Noetic approach to reality. And next to the Alternative Healing PDF, it says—
Alternative Healing - Everything that falls outside of mainstream medicine.I truly believe you finally understand
what kind of content belongs in these PDFs and threads.Jessica Morris6 said:Even today, hemp is still far from being part of official medicine. Hmm... excuse me, but by what authority, what credentials, or what evidence
are you accusing someone of putting others in danger?By that same logic, I could argue that *you* are the one putting people at risk, since you just went out of your way to claim
it's dangerous to write "about diets that cure cancer." So, does that mean on a PDF dedicated to alternative healing, people aren't allowed to discuss alternative ways of healing? 😵
Are you joking, or have you perhaps gotten a bit carried away?
Anyway, I noticed that there's a subtle push toward off-topic chatter, even though
this thread was started because of a problematic user (
as the original poster mentioned in her first post), who is clearly
a clone and constantly insults people.
Here are some of his latest examples of being abusive, which I'm bringing to the attention of the supermoderators and the admin team:
Quote : Exotericon said:You are totally lost and have no idea what you're talking about; I get the impression you're in a major life crisis and you're looking for solace here by attacking idiots.
Quote : Exotericon said:Ironically, it still persists today in an increasingly smaller "great" stinking mess. How stupid do you have to be not to see that?
Quote : Exotericon said:It’s important to clarify—I’m not calling for hatred toward the Mexicans, just expressing pity. Honestly, who could feel anything other than sympathy? $0.33 They are essentially falling apart, yet their mouths are fuller of myths than ever—it’s really all they have left, and having someone like Šarić feeding that vanity only turns the whole thing into a total circus.
Quote : Exotericon said:I don't, you idiot, I didn't "insult" him with anything; I simply called him out for his unjustified mockery regarding the connection between Americans and that inscription in Tanais, not to mention his pro-Mexican bias.
Quote : Exotericon said:Your tendency to see insults where none exist, coupled with those pathetic ad hominem attacks, only speaks to you and the smallness of your character (and your IQ). As I said, I get the impression you're going through some kind of intense psychological crisis and looking for solace here, so I'd suggest checking out Subforum: Psych Couch instead of embarrassing yourself here with such idiocy..
Quote : Exotericon said:Well, why bother telling an idiot like you that I read at least one book a week and have maintained that habit for years?
Quote : Exotericon said:Why would I talk about the history of the human race to an idiot like you who can't see past basic literature?
Quote : Exotericon said:It’s funny how we tend to compartmentalize everything—we talk about technology as if it exists in one vacuum, then pivot to spirituality as if it’s something entirely separate. But when you really start digging into all these different subjects, you realize they aren't isolated silos at all. They're deeply intertwined. I guess what I'm trying to say is that you can't truly grasp where we're headed with tech without considering the soul of the matter, and vice versa. It’s all part of the same complex tapestry, isn't it? I suppose you know the average price for a dog, right?

Quote : Exotericon said:I suppose Mother Nature and God themselves are to blame here—it feels like they decided to play one more cosmic joke on their own creation by making you who you are. That said, I’d strongly suggest finding a more appropriate venue for these outbursts. Trying to funnel such a massive amount of stupidity and decay into a thread this beautiful is, frankly, just in poor taste.
Well, here we go again. To the administration, and to stormyrider28...
I posted the link. He’s just throwing out a massive pile of insults directed at this user, and honestly, he's really going for it.
If only he had reported them in time.I can't help but wonder why everyone is just sitting there, completely ignoring and tuning out these blatant, constant violations of the rules. It’s honestly baffling.
Thanks for listening, and I hope everyone has a wonderful day ahead.
