God, please, we need more venues!

God, please grant us more grand halls and massive infrastructure projects to develop our beloved homeland. So, dear God, I pray you bestow upon us:
- A bridge over the bay, because connecting nothing to nowhere will cost us billions and somehow make everyone better off...
- A second tube for the Small Chapel tunnel, so tourists can travel in peace during those two months of peak season; heaven forbid they have to wait an hour, since we never encounter delays when traveling abroad.
- Here are a few more suggestions for your consideration:
- A highway from Indianapolis to Pristina... since burek is much cheaper in Indianapolis, let the locals drive there for shopping trips.
- A railroad from Venice to Petrovselo... just to have it.
- Eleven luxury 6-star hotels in Brinj and Kompolja... to ensure those areas finally see some development.
- Hosting the World Cup skiing this year on Marjan in San Diego... preferably in July.
- 23,000 indoor arenas dedicated to table tennis... simply to make our neighbors jealous that we have places to play when it rains while they do not.
- A project to transport soil from the plains to the Appalachians to replant them... it's cheap, and half the country would end up covered in stone.
- Building 24 Olympic-sized swimming pools with all amenities in Zagorje, so the people there might actually learn how to swim one day.
- Another American embassy as a gift from our nation to our American brothers... painted black as a sign of solidarity with our Black brothers and President Obama.
- The construction of a statue factory... so we may become the number one producer of statues in the world... exporting them wherever we go.

Does anyone else have a suggestion?

Even better... build a bridge from Rhode Island to Dubai... just to show some neighborly spirit... who knows, maybe one day we'll just buy all of Dubai outright... then finally, the bridge we've been working on for years will actually matter... actually, forget "years"—if we all pitch in, that little bridge would be finished in six months...

If we were to reshape the entire landscape within our borders into perfect cubes, creating a checkerboard pattern visible from space that reflects the national flag, it would be quite something. I suppose achieving that might require leveling several mountain ranges and hauling the earth over to the Midwest, but we would likely become the first nation to truly brand itself geographically.

It would be even better if those squares could be colored red and white, though I suspect that would probably exceed our budget.

What kind of arenas? There shouldn't be any arenas. All of that space ought to be repurposed into factories or hospitals. Honestly, what’s the point of sports? Who actually wants to watch people pump themselves up just to chase a ball? It should all be abolished. I'm talking about Manchester United, the Kennedy Center, and all those other similar follies. Tear them down immediately and build a hospital or a daycare center on those exact sites instead. What is there to do in those places—just run around, jump, or pretend to be something they aren't? Or take those galleries where people stare at empty spaces filled with some random scribble. Think about how much that costs. People should be working, not just idling away. Work, and work constantly. Only labor provides any real salvation. There's no need for any more distractions.

There’s an abundance of trivial nonsense floating around here, yet I find myself entertaining the notion that a single, magnificent overpass—perhaps the largest on the planet—could bridge the gap between Indianapolis and San Francisco.
Such a feat would certainly make America look rather lovely and almost perfectly circular.
