Well, yeah, obviously it's a shocker to you! Just like how anything involving those Clintonian cushy seats would be a "pleasant surprise" for them... so I guess it's no wonder you guys found that whole embarrassment with the French disability thing to be such a lovely little surprise too.

There’s this old clip from a local station in Chicago featuring a Clintonian giving a toast one night, and he says exactly this:

It seems strange to you that a 70-year-old man doesn't know a foreign language, but I don't see the issue. In the States, you have elderly folks chatting away in multiple languages. At least he attempted some words; that takes a certain kind of courage. It feels like Francis was quite the polyglot, and despite his rambling, I'll always have a soft spot for him. Sometimes you just have to respect the effort, regardless of the outcome.
Watch out for older politicians from developing nations when they try to speak a second language—you'll realize our local "polyglots" aren't actually doing much better than them. And since someone mentioned the Pope, I might as well weigh in on that too.

Honestly, Clintonian is getting to that age where his mind wanders a bit, and you can't really blame the guy for that whole September 9th blunder.

It's not embarrassing to not know something, it's just embarrassing when you don't even realize you're clueless.
